Picture Update.

Hows the good fight going bro?

It's goin pretty good. I have been looking for bugs, but so far have only found like 2 in the last few days so I think it's winding down. I actually had to cut up the AK pretty bad because of them, but it's still looking really healthy.

I've been only doing water..still. lol. No need for nutes yet seeing as they are staying very healthy, probably due to the low lighting that I have. I'm sure that if I had a MH or HPS on them the Pure grow would have been gone long ago. It's okay though because I think these will be moms for a little while before flowering.

Sage N Sour

Had a little problem with this girl. I guess I tied the string too tight when I was tying her down and the rope eventually dug into the stem causing it to almost cut the top off of the plant! I immediately cut off the string and taped the branch and it actually came back very fast, but I'm still worried that I fcked it up lol

Looking good Supa! Blue painter tape has saved plenty of girls in my garden from being permanently cut in half... BTW, is this your second round? I'd say you're doing a great job despite the obstacles... :cool

This is actually my third time, but my second grow was never completed due to unforeseen circumstances. It's good to hear that you've used painters tape before because I was worried the sticky part may damage the plant somehow. Thanks for coming by Shady! Good to see you around.

Nice dude they seem to have all the nutes they want at the moment. That dankouver has a really nice structure goin on. Witch air pot are you seeming to like at the moment? That Sage N Sour will repair her wounds and with the scars of battle come back with a vengeance!

Quick thinking on the band-aid supa! The Steve Vai vid is really sick man, thx for sharing.

So you're gonna keep vegging them and use them as mothers? Why not just flower em'?

Just wondering bro...

No Worries Mate

Those plants are alot tougher than you think. I've broken main stems close to the ground and used duct tape and a stick to fix the plant until harvest

Watup mayn! The Dankouver is also the one that has had the least problems AND the most resilient to the bugs. There was also no problems with tying down and it responded very well to the bending. The smart pot is going to have to get my vote. They look nicer and are put together better plus the Roots pots get really wet at the bottom and I have to squeeze water out while the smart pot does not do that at all. The SnS is a fighter for sure and I actually really like her. If there hadn't been this problem and the fact that it is so small that the light is a little further away it would be a tie between her and the Dankouver.

Thanks bro, I actually couldn't find the tape for a minute and I was bookin it around the house trying to find that shit LOL! Steve Vai is a beast although I will say some of his songs drag on toward the end. Some don't though and those are some of the best songs I've ever heard.

They aren't literally going to be moms. I should have said I'm going to let them grow out a little to get some clones off of them to pass off or whatever to keep them alive and also to get some size on them to take over the whole closet and then I'll flower.

Shit! That would be crazy to have happen, I'm sorry you've had to go through that lol! Thanks for coming by mal.

haha. that shit is hella funny bro

How are the trips treating you and your ladies?

The bugs are basically gone. I'm finding a few, but I'm also finding shriveled up ones, so I'm guessing the Neem oil is working?

Thanks for coming by gangstas.

Picture Update Beginning of Week 13

Good evening everyone,

So they've reached the light and so I've been battling with moving them up, but also tying the plants down to keep them even and get more tops to shoot up.

I think the time is coming to take a few clones and get the girls ready to flower. I have been thinking of adding a screen and weaving the plants through it. Seems easy, but I was still hoping someone with experience in doing this could tell me what to look forward to + anything I should make sure to do.

I'm starting to notice this coming back. I thought it was an old problem, but two more leaves started getting these spots. This being one of them:

http://i257.invalid.com/albums/hh230/itschillbro/DSC05111.jpg

I'm guessing it's calcium, but is it deficient or in excess? The other two aren't showing signs of it and I have been running into some nutrient toxicity. I've been having the N on the border of too much with the Pure Grow for a while now. If I could get some thoughts on this I would really appreciate it.

The plants have all shown preflowers, which i think I said before, I just couldn't get pictures. Here is one though which, even though the pistils aren't in focus, I really like.

Hello Mr. Lincoln. I was looking through my journal and saw that I never said anything to you. Sorry bro and thanks for stopping by :). I've actually seen that before and I wish I could try an experiment like that out! I've actually seen some plants like that and they're pretty crazy looking all budded out.

Looking good Supa... Not sure about the spots, but keep in mind that they don't need too much food under fluoros... Also I've been scroggin' with a net and weaving and wrapping the net around tops to keep the highest ones down and let the screen fill up. It takes time and needs to be done every three days or so in veg. :cool

Thanks bro. I didn't know that you weaved them through, I thought that you just threw it over when they flowered. I've been worried about the nutrients for a while now cuz you're right they don't need too much under fluoros. They're needing water every 2 days atm though so it should be fine. I'm probably going to start feeding with the H&G when I take cuttings and start flowering. Thanks for coming by mayn.
