I've been worried about the nutrients for a while now cuz you're right they don't need too much under fluoros. They're needing water every 2 days atm though so it should be fine. I'm probably going to start feeding with the H&G when I take cuttings and start flowering. Thanks for coming by mayn.

Yeah, the last few Rounds including the one I started recently in the bathroom is where I use the net to hold the branches in place as opposed to a true scrog where you actually pull the taller branches down and weave them horizontally through the net. So for the last month I've been practicing a true scrog in my mother tent and will post an update showing the progress. Since my net has 5" square openings, I would carefully wrap the tallest and flexible new growth around the net every 3 days... Some branches make complete u-turns over the course of a week, while others cross branches of the adjacent plants. In any event, it's time for me to flip the switch on the tent now that the screen is full... :cool

Do you end up also bending down the stems that come off the original stems that you're bending. I could see having to do that in the areas where you started bending the plants.

Yep, as new growth comes up vertically off each node, some grow faster than others... Those are very flexible and easy to bend down... BTW, I actually have 6" squares on my screen which is pretty large :thinking

Yo mayn those plants are looking nice and healthy. I am also not really sure about those spots but it doesn't look so bad. Kinda looks like P def light weight, or Cal as you said, but I'm not so sure about that. Considering you have some slow release nutes in the soil I'd probably just let it ride out for now and see what happens. If It starts progressing rapidly then you may want to try running some type of Humic/Fulvic acid through the medium to help free up any possible locked up minerals. I do no that ome people foliar spray with micro nutes and fulvic acid mixed together when they have micro nute lockout or defs. So that might be another option. Got any Seaplex laying around?

Good info about screen tek. Just in time since I'm also about to be setting up a screen hehe.

But ya I wouldn't worry to much about the spots at the moment. For the whole they look damn healthy. Hell that particular strain might be slightly finicky compared to the others.

I figure 3-4" squares will be a pretty good size. I just have to figure out how to fit it in the closet lol.

Yah I barely even notice the spots unless I start looking for them. I'm probably still going to foliar. lol. Dude your tent is going to be legit when you put that screen in. too legit to quit some might say. lol.

Update Week 13? maybe 14 lol

Watup playas

Another week another update.

The AK is starting to get rather big, as you will soon see. She's branching out pretty hard and looking very nice and healthy green.

http://i257.invalid.com/albums/hh230/itschillbro/DSC05156.jpg

The Sage n Sour has been giving me a few problems. Seems more finicky than the other two. I think it could be due to the fact that I haven't fed them nutes and I gave her less Pure grow, which would be on accident of course lol :D

http://i257.invalid.com/albums/hh230/itschillbro/DSC05152.jpg

The Dankouver is doing good as always. I think she would be the same size as the AK only I tied her down for the second time a few days after the AK and so she hasn't had as much time to branch out.

http://i257.invalid.com/albums/hh230/itschillbro/DSC05164.jpg

Also, the Sage n Sour looks a little puny, but it's because I finally decided to bend her top down again after the accident before. I've learned that you don't want to tie the string to the plant, but actually tie the string together and put the plant through the hole. I think I had the problem before because I tied the string to tight around the new growth and that part of the stem under the string couldn't grow while the rest of the stem could. Just figured I would share that info lol.

Again...sorry for the poor lighting. It's raining out here and I didn't want to take the camera outside. It probably would have been the same anyway. You may notice they are all on top of the Star Spinner. Idk what the hell I'm going to do with that thing. I guess just take pictures of my plants on it lol.

That's what I'm planning. I just want to give the other two a little time to branch out the top and get more of a bush look rather than a bent plant look lol

Damn dude those ladies are looking great! Nice Nitrogen profile. Clones before flipping wouldn't be a bad idea at all.

haha no not yet Shady. I haven't been on here that much at all and the girls hadn't been flipped yet so I decided to be a lazy ass and not put up any updates until I started to flower, which I thought was going to happen sooner lol.

I'll have an update soon(my camera is dead), but they won't flower until I take a few more clones in hopes of having a successful AK clone. The last clone operation I had only yielded 2 of 12. The plants weren't in the best condition at the time though so I think that was why they didn't root well. I've been having a few problems. Nothing too ridiculous though. I would advise ANY grower, big or small, to buy a pH and ppm pen. I think my plants would be a lot better right now if I had a pH pen. Granted, I have only been using Organicare and Pure Grow as a top layer of soil so I think I'm taking the best route without having a pH pen. I should get one soon, but I'm pretty strapped right now with Christmas and all. They are looking very nice atm though except for a few past problems. Lots of roots shooting out of the Smart pot. Not the roots pots though.

I'm sorry to anyone that was following my grow and felt like I just abandoned it. I didn't intend to do that and once flowering gets going I will have an update every week. same time, same place lol.

hit up ebay dude

I got a ph pen for 15 bucks or less. Damn grow stores are 50-60 and above
even cheaper if you order from china and wait 2 weeks for shipping

I agree with your ppm and ph pen. I for sure say you need to have it almost before you gets lights. Can trow everything off bad!

Live and learn-----know and doing are too different things!

look forward to seeing some new pics!

Happy rainy holidays......I am soggy over here across the bay

Just remember New indoor grow show again this year! Cant wait! I need some new gear!

Haha cant wait for that grow show! You're right knowing and doing are two different things. I'm pretty sure that atm I'm the smartest person on planet Earth so at least I've got half of it down lol. I've got a few pictures for you. They have grown a lot since my last update, which I didn't notice until now.

---------------------------

So, we've been through some ups and downs, the Dankouver has the scars to prove it as you will soon see lol. or maybe have already seen? who knows. The Ak is noticeably the best. I can't stop thinking that the smart pot is what made it shine better than the other two, even though I know there are a lot of other things that could be the reason why. Still, I'll be using smart pots from now on. The Sage n Sour is steadily growing. I may cut off these stupid roots pots and transplant into smart pots. As some of you may know..I gave my clones to Justice because I didn't have the space and I wanted to preserve the genetics in case any of these end up being "SUPER STRAYANS" lol.

thats his journal. if you haven't seen it you should. a lot of good info from a gifted grower. basically dudes a beast.

Glad to know you didn't abandon your thread Supa... Those plants look pretty good considering the time they've been veggin'. Have they shown any prefowers? On a side note, if you are having problems with cloning you could always be practicing your technique until your ready to flip the switch. Shit, you could even get a couple to root and flip some 5" clones under fluorescent lights just to confirm sex and save you the trouble of veggin' males... :thinking
