In tent in a basement, tents best way to regulate temp humidity, last grow didn’t have exhaust running I’m sure that was part of the taste problem..

ok.. you were able to control temp and humidity?
a way to bring in fresh air?
did you hang branches?

Yea I have a temp/rh controller with everything to regulate it, I Hung the whole plant upside down before any trimming, no fresh air in because exhaust was off.. stupid mistake. No light leaks or anything though


This grow I plan to hang upside down whole plants because they aren’t too big or bushy, and going to keep exhaust on low to keep some fresh air getting into tent,

no fans running in tent correct? I’d rather be patient and let it take it’s time drying

well if you have a small fan with a slow speed, you could put on floor facing downward or towards a wall, you do want some airflow but it has to be not much at all, especially in a tent..
maybe place it outside the tent blowing in a vent if there’s one?..
you dry at 60/60 temp/hum?.. or something close..

Yeah pretty much spot on 60/60, and ok good advise move the air as long as buds aren’t getting hit

Run your fan but not directly at the plant. I tell people if you put your fan in the corner and point it at the center of the wall opposite to it it will ricochet off the all and start a circular motion in the tent. You want air swirling, not hurricane, but a nice gentle breeze.

Lookin fine as wine! I’ve never done the dark period. It sounds like bro science but I haven’t done a deep dive on that topic. Those big bulging muscular girls, though, they are giving me the vapors!

Yeah I guess I haven’t heard any positives or negatives almost preference, but they are if anything little ripe so I figured that would help not promoting growth

Bro! You've got at least a few weeks to properly dry and cure the flower you so painstakingly grew and baby sat.

Are you monitoring the temp and humidity of the tent you're drying in? Ideally you want temps to be around 60* - 68* and humidity at around 60%.

Pay attention to this part because, this is the last part of the process but just as, if not more, important than the grow part. This part will determine how smooth and flavorful your smoke will be along with allowing the time for those flavors and other chemical processes to happen to improve smoke quality and potency otherwise you may end up with hay.

Got a nice temp/rh controller I got it set 50 rh and 63 degrees, any thoughts on keeping tent exhaust on or just running a fan blowing out of vent on tent to cycle in a little fresh air

Perfect! Keep checking the dryness so that they don't dry out too fast but at the set points you have now they should be fine. Bump up the humidity to 60% after they've dried a bit.

I'd keep an internal fan blowing lightly to keep the air moving inside the tent and your exhaust fan on high enough to exchange the air in the tent every 3 minutes at minimum so that you exhaust whatever moisture is above your set point.
