Back in the day I knew a guy that knew a guy that grew my favorite smoke ever. He called it the Shire. It was a cross between super silver haze and sour diesel. He has since lost his mother plant and has not made more in a long time.

Is it anywhere out there? A real strain? Or do I have to learn how to breed?

It's gone. If that was the only one left, its gone. It would almost impossible to breed the same plant again, but you could get close.

I ordered 100 of the IX... Got to me (US) in no time.
Dropped ten... Three came up (they are old).
One damped off, the other two were male, and I pollinated they entire county with them. 😁

Even still, with current seed prices... If a person were to drop 50 bucks on that site it's 20 seeds. Including shipping. I checked. That's 20 attempts for 50 bucks. Here it's easy to spend 80 on 4 seeds.

I'm considering it

My love of SD UK side made me have to join just to say u guys may enjoy visiting connoisseur genetics site.
He was a monster nevile fan i u derstand and was responsible for the project you're referring too from reservoir seeds.
He has some real diverse stuff and specialises in haze. I know I sound like a shill but genuinely felt it would be worth a look. His insta was exceptional for ref material until it got nuked but he def has some real gems.
Also glad to see people talking about growing haze as thought it was kinda frowned upon in the US. Has a bad stigma in the UK from over saturation of bad lemon haze but people behind the sssdh restored my faith 😅

I bought a 10 pack of the SSSDH old stock from seedbay, zero germinated.
Hope you have better luck. It is also one of my favourite flavours 🔥 Sour Amnesia (Hortilabs) also had the same flavour.
SSSDH was originally bred by Rez (Resevoir Seeds) and later by OJD (Connoisseur Genetics). You can find Connoisseur Genetics seeds for sale from US vendors/seedbanks, If you email him (find the address on his IG page).
Also, Rez has just released a SSSDH redux. But they are $200 or $250 I think for a pack of 10 regs. (I know there are other factors regarding how ppl feel about Rez, but I'm not getting into that here, lol.)
The SSSDH is 🔥🔥🔥
I've been thinking a lot lately that Super Lemon Haze x Sour Diesel might produce something similarly fire 🔥🔥🔥 "SLSDH" anyone?? 😙💨🔥🔥

Damn it. Not what I wanted to hear.
Seedbay and rez.

I got 50. Hopefully something comes up and I can make more. If for some reason this all works our for me and I get new sssdh seeds, I'll throw some to you.

I'm not paying 200 for them though. I paid 65 dollars for 50. Including international shipping. Kinda tells me right there that they wont work, huh?

A member on here, Mojave Green has grown some SSSDH recently and has pics in his thread.
$200 is a lot but when you think what packs of Capulators stuff and JBeezy's etc have sold for, its actually peanuts for the quality of the smoke 🔥💨 I cant lie, if it wasnt Rez I would've already bought a pack and probably even two!! lol 😅
I will get some from Connoisseur Genetics this year 💯. I'm pretty sure they're available in the US. The SSSDH crosses he has too plus the Amnesia Hazy Jones sound so much 🔥 The only reason I haven't ordered already is theres too many packs I want and cant afford them all, lool 😆😂🔥

Most likely what your referring to is the Shire cut of the SSSDH. @KeystoneHempNursery could very possibly help you get your hands on the cut your looking for. Always pulls through for me. Solid people. You can find them on here or IG.
