I had these two seeds floating in bottled water for 36 hours and only one of them popped a little tail, couldn't tell with the other seed, probably a dud, Greenhouse is notorious for bad seeds (but if I can just get one to germinate). dropped them both in party cups with a little mycorrhizae. I use to use the Great White but found that Mykos is a bang for your buck item. This is their temporally setup/home till the 4x2 Infinity tent gets situated. We are just finishing up a dry n cure in there. If these don't germinate..shortest thread on the Farm..

And we have life... a new born is always a good sight to see. The other cup is a day behind and the soil is very wet so I'll have to let them dry a bit or we'll have some problems in a few days.

Handling them as you would a freshly new born baby. Got the sandwich bags on top to keep the humidity up (70-80ish) and had to drop the light strip a bit to get at least 100 PAR on these babies. The other cup is still behind but I can see the head pushing wanting to come out. I set up the lights for 18/6 schedule. I'm anxious to leave them set up in the tent but having them where I can check on them at a glance feels better for me (yes I get really anxious during seedling stage). Relieved to see color on the one that's ready to explore the world.

We moved her to the tent finally. The sandwich bag deal was bugging me after the first watering with it there, nearly tore her out of the cup removing the bag, sigh. So we organized everything for them to sit in the tent till we get them in their final pots. Meanwhile, while visiting the local dispensary on a gummies pickup, I noticed some clones there that I couldn't resist on. Have it next to the Silver Haze right now. We'll try to keep this thread on topic but the elephant in the room is that clone I picked up. And that 2nd cup looks like it's not gonna pop, we'll let it hang out for a week or two just in case.

That guy has a plant in his mouth.... ;)

I use these clear plastic domes that you get from some places when you order a shake. Some of them have an X on top, some have a hole. They give humidity plus some air, they're easy to take on and off, the ones with a hole can give support if a seedling needs it, and they help with watering.......of course, the pot needs to be larger than the dome, I don't know if solo cups are quite big enough, but I'll water around the outside of the dome, along the rim of the pot/cup, and the dome helps block water from soaking right around the stem, it's a barrier. This helps prevent stem rot.

5 rapid gunshots woke me up at 3am this morning. Whatever, probably some kids "trying" to be men. drank some water and decided to check on the ladies. Freakn lights were on..wtf!? Had the lights on this whole freakn time 24/7. After some half sleep fumbling with the timer was able to get everything right for the 18/6 schedule.. sigh.

First time user of Build A Soil Earth Worm Castings (vermicompost). Interesting consistency here, nothing like what Home Depot offers.

I had a gut feeling the 70-75% was holding my ladies back. Dropped the humidity to 60% to increase root uptake....and boom... 24hours between both pics.

Well, I'm bummed. The 2nd (Silver Haze) did not pop. And, excited that my topping of the clone (OG Kush) paid off. It's starting to look like a normal plant instead of a branch sticking out of the soil. Moved the humidifier out of the tent (and into the lung room). I'm thinking in a week or two we'll be transplanting them into their final pots.

Anxious to get them in their final pots, but they are full of fungus gnats right now, it's operation Desert Storm in my garage right now . Have to get these numbers of the gnats down low before bringing these pots inside the house. I have a few Rove Beetles in there but they are out numbered at the moment. Have some reinforcement coming in today from Nature's Good Guys. I also watered with a heavy BTI drench this morning and sprayed the top with some Dr. Enzymes. It's on like Donkey Kong.
The ladies in the tent are growing but not as fast as I'd like them too, might water with a little Recharge today. Haven't done any "feeding" per se just what's in the soil.

I did that last run because my timer switch got bumped from timer to ON.

Count me in! SSH and Pure Power Plant were the strains I grew over a decade ago, this brings it back for me.

Keeping it simple and am just using Gaia Green 4 4 4 (and EWC- Earth Worm Castings) for the Veg period .. I'll switch it up just before I flip.
