Switching From 24/7 To 18/6

I'm on day 43 and have been on 24/0 the whole time. Is it ok to switch to 18/6 for flowering?

No. 12/12 schedule is needed for flowering. Its all about the florigen.

Then you don’t have to switch at all but if you want you can to save energy.

Not really why would it? More photosythesis=more growth. The only reason to get it down to 18/6 is to save money. Maybe it would yield better at 18/6 if you calculate it by $ spent per gram as giving 24 hours light is not going to make them 1/4 times bigger, but imo it will yield more.
