As long as the room temp is good you don't need a heater, and def save your $$ on the clonex.....not needed :)

I have read some strategy on getting plants to root faster with different combinations of suppliments, but it's only a couple days if anything. IMO, it all depends on the condition and age of the mother.

I know you are all probably pissed at me for not showing any dog pics lately so here ya go!

I am active in rescue programs and here we have a HUGE pitbull problem. This is a farming town and it brings in 3rd world labor from Mexico. They sadly also bring their primitive customs. This giant was found my our friends yesterday. He is an absolute specimine, but was used for fighting. The most impressive thing about this breed is that they can take a huge load of abuse and still return to companion state. I watched him for a couple hours, tested him with food and snacks for aggression, and then let him go a couple play wrestling matches with my other combat breed rescue. I threw some hotdogs at him just to make sure he wasn't going to eat our weiner dog. No problems at all, no overagression, a very gentle giant. It took him about 10 seconds to pin my Cane Corso to his back, then he just laid on him.....it was hella funny. I did have a crowbar in arms reach though.

None of these pics do this dog justice as far as physical dominance. When he locks his eyes on you, you get an instant fight or flight shot of adrenalin. I found my self wondering what I would do if he decided to go full blast for my throat. In reality without the help from my other dogs, it would be an awful fight for a minute or so but I don't think I could hold this guy off much longer. I don't say that often and i'm around dogs 24/7. Dog fighters are breeding some amazing looking/performing animals, it's time to put this breed back to work properly and take them out of the fight arena.

This gentle giant we call "BigGrayDog" didn't have any problems while temporarily at my house waiting for adoption, he even slept in my bed with me, and liked to sleep in late just like me :D. He was taken to his new home this morning.....I miss him already :(

Take it easy on this breed people, they have one of the most special personalities in the dog world. I believe this breed is overlooked by farmers/ranchers, and the farm would be an ideal environment. Working during the day, protection/love/companionship by night.

Give your pups a big hug yall, some breeds are still livin' rough.

Awesome puppies u got there bro. I love mine. Here's a couple shots of my boy, Meeko. He was a rescue. 6 months when we got him. Best dog Ive ever had. Listens to everything I say. Great woth, people, puppies, cats and wont even bother a squirrel unless I tell him too! Lol, love my dog...
Hope ya dont mind me sharing! Thanks BirdDog1! Peace.

Damn bird, you are a saint.with things the way they are in Mexico,I really wonder about this guy's past.dogfighting is very popular there.in fact, one cartel has an open policy of bring your dog to fight ours, you will bask in luxury until the fight, then we take your money, scoop your dog into a bag, shake your hand, and send you home."I have always been into "sporting dogs",though I would never roll them. most are very intelligent with lineage going back years to dogs like Dibo,t stone,Indian bolio.jocko, and redboy.very sad.these dogs are so intelligent and atheletic, its amazing.most just want to please their master by any means.the problem is the masters.who either teach them well and make a nice happy dog,or they teach bad habits(which most pits just want to please their owner)and even though bad to us,it just wants to please on whatever rules, good or bad,are enforced.blame the owners.really.you truly get out of a pet what you put into it.they need exercise, attention, and plenty of re-enforcement on the rules, but with some hard work you will have a friend and guardian for life.great post bro.I have had a total of six pitbulls thus far and it might be the only breed I ever own.I have more troubles with "Tuffy",my little cock strong Pomeranian, that sunnofabitch sprays, barks, bites and just acts like an all around ahole, but the bastard can hear a pin drop 3 clicks away.LOL.they make quite a team

Great points Tf. You get what u put into them dogs. I go to ADBA pitbull shows, where there are close to a thousand dogs and no one gets bit. No dogs fight. They were bred for show and trained to be show dogs, or pulling dogs, catch dogs, etc. irresponsible owners have ruined the dogs rep. Loyalty is their biggest attribute, but also their biggest downfall. The fact they will fight to the last dying breath, to please their owner, is amazing degree of loyalty. Look what it has got them. People train them dogs to be killers and expect them to mingle with the fam. Dont work.
Pitbulls are amazing animals. Ill never own any other dog. Thanks for the info and input Tf. Peace!!!

It's SUNDAY! The BirdDog crew is kickin' back with some Platinum OG and a whole fresh batch of medicated fudge brownies! I bet I'll be in bed early tonight .

The Aliens are all big enough to start taking cuttings. I took a round of every plant today and put them into the EZ. As soon as I am sure I have a rooted cutting of each plant I will flower these babies! I love taking first round cuttings from seed, it usually only takes 3-5 days in the EZ before they throw roots. I put up to 4 cuttings in each collar, the key to this is to not have the cuttings touch each other. If they do, you will get slime.

I have fresh bulbs in the floro, and the EZ has been scrubbed down with bleach and refilled with clean water PH'd to 5.6. These little guys/girls are as happy as when they were on the plant. I'll be flipping the switch this week! Stayed tuned!

Have a great weekend everyone,
BD
very cool , neat clean emaculate set up you got there cloning bro, your living the good life my man, beautiful dogs collect your numerous containers out of your kick as pool and keeping you shit tight.... mad propS... BD .

Post away QQ! This is a dog first, cannabis second thread :D. That's a sick looking little soldier you got there, I like the natural ears. I come from a hunting dog background and didn't have any contact with the pit breed until I was an adult. I rescued a blue and he changed my whole thinking on dogs in general. He makes me smile every single day without fail.

Hey SOS, brother, you nailed it man:

"they need exercise, attention, and plenty of re-enforcement on the rules"

That is it....plain and simple! In return you receive joy. You said it all, I have nothing else lol

Oh ya....hey Quest, i'm at the dog park 4-5 days a week. I have seen every other breed throw down at some point. I've yet to see a pit in a fight. I have heard people claim that they "like" to fight, or "want" to fight. Straight bullshit. I'd say from my experience, pits "want" to fight least.

So glad the folks at the farm are dog friendly. No shit, I was reading an outdoor thread at icmag and a dipshit mentioned that growers should stake dogs around a grow for protection......nobody said shit or corrected him either. Sad.

Being a dog or hell an animal lover in general says alot about person IMO. Id rather surround myself with like minded folks, and dog or animal lovers that is, period. I tink if i ever stumbled upon an outdoor grow, with Pits staked around it, id feed the dogs steak, and shoot the fuckin owner. some people just dont get it.

Ken

Both my dogs are rescues. Both are amazing bundles of joy. No clue why anyone would give them up. My older girl had been abused, and was skittish as hell when she first came into my life. Now she's just a good ole fashion howlin hound dog.

Yeah I pulled one from the fire as well.it had been accidentally sold as a show dog and by time a very well known underground breeder realized it was the wrong dog,it had already become a member of the family.several attempts were made to buy the dog back because every dog in its litter and previous litter had already become aces and grand champions.if I didn't move around so much in the day I am positive I would've got a knock on the door.that is when I actually watched a fight of my dog's brother sent to me from this d bag,and a shot of his puppy mill.I was so fucking disgusted,I could never send a family member into a death match.the sheer intelligence and loyalty of these dogs has made it tough to own another.my present bitch "penny" is a family member, protector, nanny to my baby son,my friend, and affection magnet for all.it is extremely bad some have ruined the reputation of these animals,by far the human is the cruelest animal on the earth.

While I have found that pits can be the friendliest dogs around and harmless unless taught to fight , just the fact that they have the power to kill one of my kids or bite and not let go, has always kept me from considering pits as pets. Like my little shitzu and my cats .....curious to thoughts on this from pit bull owners.....soser

x2 Ken, those fuckers would have a very bad day.

Very legit question.education and common sense over all.some pets aren't for kids, period.a parent's responsibility over everything else is protect your kids right?I would never leave my kids with a loaded gun on the table unsupervised, nor would I ever leave a child unnatended with a dog I wasn't 295% sure about.this has to be your thought process always.you have a potential liability on your hands.I would plant any animal with aggressive tendencies asap first of all, besides one dog,I have been a part of the parent's life as well, which is a must I believe.I got to see the temperament first hand over a long period.I never encourage any games or playtime events that encourage any aggressive tendencies, because imo once you turn a dog onto any behavior you encourage, the dog will be programmed to think that it is good or acceptable.only certain dogs have the intelligence to handle a dual role like this, after all you are encouraging a potential killer to be judge and jury.these dogs aren't for everyone to be truthful.you have to have a very stable enviornment, patience, and the time to nurture and teach,as well as exercise and play, this is truly a breed that is what you make it,and if you can't make it right, don't get one.sad to see how many people get these dogs without ever being previous pet owners or without doing the needed research on parental temperament.if all pet owners would do the homework on what it truly takes to make happy pets,as well as spay or nueter your animals, maybe we can lower the population of some of these pounds.think it through before you get pets people, for their sake.be honest with yourselves as far as your abilities and available time!

Agreed ^^! I group Pits with German Shepards and Weimeraners (Ive had all three). These breeds are like taking on a human child. They are the most capable breed on this planet and need to be challenged. Do you have a couple free hours every day? If not, no go on the Pit. Get one after the kids have gone to college so you can really enjoy one.

Oh hey Fudge! Man that Pit I rescued was playing in my yard with my other pups doing the butt tuck and run and all of a sudden got a wild hair up his ass and just jumped straight up in the air hahaha, that sucker jumped at least 6' off the ground and just ate shit LOL. Oh man that was funny. That's one thing that will take people by surprise with Pits, they are crazy athletic. No dog can do what a Pit can, and I'm a Lab guy.....my Lab's gonna be pissed when he reads this.

Pits heal faster than most dogs too. My buddies dog followed a rabbit through a barbed wire fence and cut the hell out of herself. Body cuts aren't a big deal but she had a deep cut between her pads. We were not able to get her to a vet til the next morning. We woke up and she was fine! I couldn't believe it, her foot had scabbed over without infection and she wasn't even limping. I have never seen that before and I run bird dogs hard. I spend a couple grand at the vet every year without fail, shit I need to hybridize my bird dogs with pits to save some $$$!!
