Ok, I have officially lost my mind. I swore off mixed strain rooms but yet here I am.......ABDUCTED!!

I moved them all to the oven for their final 8-9 week bake. Alien Rock Candy, Tahoe Alien, 3 OG strains, Bubba Kush, Girl Scout Cookie, Green Crack, and Blackberry Kush. They are about to GET IT ON!

They look a little sad cuz I did the final trim and sprayed them down.

I had 100% success with cloning and have a copy of every Alien in the room.......STOKED!!!

Damn, one day i'm running nice and safe, everything is on point......then BAM, I'm in the shit. Damn Aliens!!!!

Have a good weekend everybody! The BirdDog crew is off for the opening day of hunting season, it's time to put some food in the freezer and let the pups do what they do! Have you ever seen a Cane Corso bird hunt? This is his second season and he is DIALED, i'll get some action shots as promised.

. Used to walk a Lab for a Lady, Man, did it have an Appetitite! By the time I'd put the food down and turned around, it was all gone!

Anyways, respec be unto thee, got some HOS green python, amongst others, amazingly short folwer period you getting, again, biggups.

just got done viewing every page of this thread!!!which im usually too lazy to do on any thread lol..

i came to see some Alien Tahoe, but got a great bundle of dog/multiple strain info and pics.

i love dogs and pitbulls.

im thinking of ordering some Alien Tahoe along with another strain.

also with BREEDING,
ive read that its best to pick the female dominate male, and a male that shows sex last.has trichs on stalk...

this is supposed to give you some great female to male ratios on seeds.
and also be dank :)

Thanks Dreng! I have had a chance to work with Huskies and holy shit, they are savages! Very unique and tough as hell. Greasy coats and hard to groom. Good luck with em' they are very special.

The BirdDog crew had a great weekend in the back country. It's been crazy dry so I knew the bird count would be low. Saturday, which was opening day, was packed with hunters. We went to two of our normal spots and didn't have any luck. The dogs found em' but the coveys were too small so I didn't take any. This morning I tried a new spot and did some prospecting. I let the dogs hunt while I crept in 4 low in the jeep. The ground in the area is crushed granite which tears the dogs feet up. They were just about done when BAM and 50+ covey jumped up. I suited up and hunted them down but those fuckers were crafty and I never got a shot off. I'll head out in a couple days when the weekend warriors aren't out and find that covey again, it can stand to lose 20 or so.

All in all it went great. The birds won this round but we got a ton of excercize. I shit you not, both of my dogs are out cold with smiles on thier faces haha. This old cowboy's soul is happy. No pics this round but I assure you that there will be tons of good pics before the season is over. I'll update with some pics of the farm in a couple days.

Hope everybody had a great weekend!

Ok, shit.....the count is in on the Green Crack and it's not good. Bare with me here while I do some math. I have ran this strain multiple times and know exactly what to expect. Normally I pull approx 1.3 to 1.4 per 1000. The room that I ran this round has two 1000 watt bulbs in there. During the summer I change the timers so that they both are not running the whole 12 hours, in this case one came on a 8am and the second came on at 11:00am, they run together for 6 hours then the first one shuts off and the second stayes on 3 more hours. It equils out to a total of 1500 watts throughout the grow since each bulb only runs for 9 hours.

So, if I can expect an average of 1.4 per 1000 watts, 1500 watts should produce 2.1. Everything was perfect this round, nothing went wrong but I only pulled 1.0!!! Less than I pull with only 1000?!?!

After thinking it through the problem is clear. I fucking switched bulbs to save a measly $40 per bulb. FUCKING PISSED!!!!

Here is the bulb NOT to buy:

I had decided to just start switching bulbs every run so I went with a cheaper bulb, big mistake......fucking devastating actually. The buds never hit their final swell.....holy shit i'm so fucking pissed....

Take it from this sucker, don't buy plantmax......FUCK

Yes sir West, great investment. I started with digital and top notch bulbs......over time as I added watts I picked up mags and switched to cheaper bulbs that were changed more often......damn....big mistake.

To everyone that has been reading, take this one piece of advice above all:

Build your system around a digital ballast and quality bulb! Holy shit I'm a dumb-ass o_O

I have been making corrections here and there, plant count, strain, size etc.....damn.....every correction except the right one o_O

Live and learn brother all you can do, I have heard others on here state they would rather buy cheap bulbs and switch every run.... makes me think , I have a fairly expensive bulb 100 bucks -600 watt but have done three runs with it .... how often should I change and wait a minute let me see what it is ultra sun by sunlight supply inc ....600hps high output lamp for optimal plant growth. So I have about 15-23 days left on all 4 plants in room..... suggestions on what new bulb i should buy .......
