If that box is open to the ground, the plant will grow down into it and should not become bound at all.

I hope so/not...lol..you know what i mean.

Im airpruning the roots around the edges too :)
and forcing them downward at the same time :D
with a hose...lol;)

You don't have to do it while in veg only, I do it with plants well into flower every year. :)
Seamaiden will these late clones make strong mother plants?

They can, it just takes time to get them back vegging properly. But that's one of the reasons *why* I like doing things this way. It gives me breathing room.
