A couple pictures of the clones that show some pretty different pheno types in the mature leaves. Thought I would share.

Keep in mind I used the same size font, so the leaves are not the same size due to the cropping. "N" being the smallest and "D" being the largest.

WARNING - this is not an update. Just some lovely sneak peeks into the 6 week mark of the Starbud. Still a ways away, but thought I would snap a few quick ones. Enjoy.

she is a fairly low yield-er compared to the rest of the bunch. but she might make up for it in BANG... (reminder - this is the variegated one)

"N" may be a few weeks behind but her trichs extend lower on the fan leaves than the rest and all over the top stems where the rest have some trichs on the stems, but not nearly as much as "N".

Side note: Gonna give my DIY cloner a whirl. The goal is to just be rid of the humidity domes altogether. We will see. And if it doesn't work well with my style, then it cost me only a few dollars. But so far all of the cuttings look very happy after being in there for about 5 hours.

What kind of smells are you getting off these?

Well, right now it is lights out, but I can remember it pretty well. They are all similar yet different. All of them have a musky thick rotten fruit smell when you put your nose right up to them (tangerine powers, that is). It is pungent, but nothing super loud with the exception of "N" which is amplified more than the rest. The problem is I think I may have found a nanner on "N" and I am debating on culling it right now. Two nanners on one branch, and it is about half way through, but space is valuable and I wouldn't mind spreading things out a bit either. It is very unfortunate about "N" since I really like the way the nugs and trichs are forming. But se-la-vi. Also, not yet confirmed, I caught it early and I should be able to tell for sure tonight or tomorrow.

When I stick my nose right up to them is one thing, heavy rotten fruit, but when I rub the trichs, the resin smell is much different and differs a little more between the plants. The overall smell of the rubbed resin on the fingers is like a bright splash of sprite with a thick finish of orange or tangerine depending on the plant. One plant, "M", has a little something else behind it. It almost has a bit of berry/funk smell behind the tangerine, which is very interesting. But it is almost more of a bread-like berry, like a blueberry muffin surrounded by tangerines and limes with a sweet finish and a sizzle to the nose (from the sprite aspect). "L", "D", "J", and "G" which share a similar phenotype all tend to be a little more emphasized on the tangerine/orange smell. I cannot attest to "F" yet, she is too far behind to compare properly, but her super tight structure is giving me high hopes.

To help contrast, I have a Tahoe OG which is lemon/fuel funk and the resin of the Tangerine Powers smell sweet and bright compared.

The Starbud, which is looking to be VERY promising, is very impressive in the smell being very strong. But it leans way towards the skunk/poo type of smell. Not sweet at all so far. Not a bad thing of course, just not as pleasant once you just rubbed a bunch of TP's. The resin rub on this plant is physically nice, it fells like touching a piece of super thick velvet because of the trichome coverage. The smell is more typical of what I have grown up smelling. Very funky. I can't remember right now if there was something behind it or not.

Now the Grizzly Purple Kush is smelling like a nice blend of kush and grape/berry right now. It is much lighter than the rest in the funk/rotten department. Almost like fresh fruit/berries mixed with kush/floral instead of that rotten or musky type of smell. I cannot remember of hand what the resin rub was like for this one. I have been keeping my eye on the others, though this one is starting to look a lot better, but still not as impressive as the rest.

I hope that gives a decent rough idea.

Edit: Right now, though things may change by the minute, I have my eye on "M", "D", and "F" as possible keepers for the TP's. Also, I think the Starbud will be a shoe-in. If the buds stay tight, "F" may be a perfect example of an indica structure bud with sativa leaning leaves... here's to hoping

@motz Thanks

note: I checked "N" again and it for sure was a nanner. Too bad. On the good side, "D" is looking extra frosty for that phenotype. "G" is the least frosty of that group (G, J, D, and L all seem like similar phenotypes. N, M, and F each have their own phenos). My current [female] fav's are: M, D, and F.
