Snowblind has some nice shots to throw up and I smoked my sample already! :)
SMELL
Dominant smell of bud : Strawberries and Witch-hazel
Associated smells of bud : Maraschino cherries and Kush
TASTE
Dominant flavour : Strawberries and cherry cough drops
Associated flavours : Little piney kush and burnt cedar wood
Harsh/smoothness : 10 10 10 super smooth smoke.
- cough factor? : Not unless you over indulge.
BUZZ
Profile : Percentage of head to body; to me it feels right down the middle with a little extra heady effect. I'd say it's 60% head 40% body.
Potency : solid 9; potent ass shit.
Duration : 2 1/2hrs easy
Use : whenever... who cares
Munchies? : yes, I got em.

The Tarantula! which was a cross done by OGR a while back consisting of the Alien Kush crossed to the KK Strawberry Cough. Snowblind found this pheno out of a pack of the Strawberry Medley, which was a mixed pack. I still have my Straw med pack just waiting for the right time. :)
Any hoot Snowblind's pheno is ridiculous. It has a ton of great attributes that would excite any farmer... I'll go over those now.
The first thing any of us would notice is the fact that this stuff is gorgeous to the eye! I mean really; Giant buds, insane frost production and wickedly dark purple! After that you'll pick up a strong sweet odor that kicks with the smell of strawberries and maraschino cherries muddled down and a with a splash of witch hazel and burnt cedar wood. It's really enjoyable just to see and smell; That will only make you want to smoke it asap!
Smoking this strain is indeed the topper after drooling over it. Buds are dense big and full. As I mentioned, completely covered in a mushroom forest of trichs. Bud were dried and cured very well. They break down perfect in your hands but it is sticky in the right kinda way! ;) Trich heads fly everywhere. Smells just pop again on the break down, yummy. Herb burns just right; Not to fast, not to slow. The smoke goes down clean, crisp and smooth. It will expand a little and I do like a little lung busting. The taste is totally clean and bursts with the Strawberry/cherry fruit flavor. The back end taste profile is like a smokey kush with a little skunk. All together that terpene profile is quite unique and delicious. Most of my friends liked the Tarantula over all the samples I received from Snowblind. For whom I thank very much. ;)
The high... It's gooood. On top of the look, aroma and flavor; Is the effect and potency. They are both solid. I'll take like 5 hits off my pipe and feel blasted for the next few minutes while the thc settles in to my system. After that it's pretty smooth sailing for a couple hours. The effect both soothes my mid-section and lower back while tickling my brain into pleasant daydreams. I was just jamming out to music, so you know... It was a good time. This stuff will really put ya in a good mood and that's always something you wanna feel from your smoke. Shit some strains will either turn you into a sloth or trip you the fuck out!
This pheno is a great offspring of the two awesome parent plants. Nice job to OGR on this cross. Snowblind did one hella job growing this out. I'll note he grew this out hydroponically and completely sterile. Jack's nutes. Oh boy did he pull out some smells and flavors with all the strains I sampled. Not always easy to do mind you. But I think a lot of us here understand that. So yes, Snowblind really killed it! hehe
