So why edible crops only. I cant use these on the flowers or house plants. I wanna share the love with all the plants around the house

You can use them on everything, but if they are for edible crops only there is no sales tax in my state. :woot:

Yeah sea ferts for edible crops in cali are non taxable, just like edible plants (herbs, citurs trees, berries etc). So if you go to the nursery and you buy a basil plant and some tomato food, you should not be charged sales tax. If they charge you, let them know that your items are non-taxable.

That's super interesting about the nontaxable status of edibles/supplies pertaining to edibles. So much to take away from this thread. Thanks.

Makes me wonder if 'cap' is just a permutation of 'cpa'... :)

I read through here, and had some questions for you. Why would someone buy your foliar product when they can use compost tea to apply bacteria and fungi to the plant surface? Also with the ability for soil growers to mix in neem cake, and crab meal along with applying neem cake tea soil drenched why would a grower benefit from using your products instead? I mean no disrespect I am just looking for info. Thanks!

I forgot to ask one question. Do your product ingredients originate from the US? Are they mixed in the US, or over seas? Thanks!!

Spore count. His has more.

Its the difference between 'send in some troops'
-and-
'send in the Army, Navy, Air Force, & the Marines'

No exaggeration.

A little bit of both. Mixed here, but gathered from several sources.. some sources in the U.S and some outside of it. I'm actually dreaming of putting together my own lab to do all the manufacturing in house. The neem cake I gather would not be so good for the fungi spores? Doesn't it inhibit fungi growth?

The difference between my packs in a compost tea and just regular compost tea is substantial as far as spore counts and species diversification. There are many species in the packs that have been isolated from different parts of the world that you will not be able to find in your average compost tea. Compost tea is awesome, but when you add the packs to the tea you get a super brew.

I have yet to read any papers stating that neem cake would be detrimental to fungi, and the micro herd. Actually neem cake has been shown to help out the micro herd, inhibit bad fungi, and set the stage for growth of "good" fungi. Do you have any papers, or studies that you are sighting this information from?

I meant the actual brews as seen through a microscope. Sorry I did not clarify.

No I don't have any studies to reference. I was just thinking neem oil is used as a fungicide and therefore harmful to even the beneficials. I know for sure you arent supposed to use the foliar pack (fungal spores) in conjunction with neem oil or azidiachtrin. I was actually asking you if you knew about this... but I may just be assuming that neem cake is like neem oil. Looks like I need to do a little research...

check page 22 post #422 of this thread for a microscope pic I took of just molasses and spores. No compost/EWC/or anything else.

Just had a test done on the compost tea with root and foliar packs. the prelim results show bacteria counts at 6,000 spores per microgram. Their standard for a high count brew is 1000 spores per microgram. The fungal count was average though, but I think thats because I didnt use any fungal food or brew for more than 24 hours. Im working on new batch next week per their advice to make a fungal dominant tea.

Buy a microscope. Much cheaper in the long run. Unless you are getting your tea tested within 4-5 hours or brewing it then the test is not accurate. The microbes die off in 6-8 hours. I have scoped tea that was only 4 hours old, and the microbial life diminished by almost half. So tell me how I am suppose to over night a sample, and get an accurate result? Doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure this one out.

Below is a tea that was brewed at 64 degrees for 24 hours. It did not pass the test. With a temp that low I would have to extend the brew time by another 12 or more hours, and also add more food. By the looks of it the average person would think that it was an acceptable tea.
