This may be true, but the fact that it sounds like a result of a grower trying to "think like a plant" makes it very suspect.Forgot to add, I left the lights off for 2 days before flicking to flower, read that it allows the plant time to produce enough of a hormone to allow it to change in to flower quicker. Where it takes a week or so for a plant to change to flower if you go straight from 18/6 this method can apparently reduce that to a couple of days due to this hormone. The hormone is broken down while the lights are on. A friend uses this method and swears by it to.
Worth a try at least.
I failed to understand this from your post.I been doing this years. I run this tent as a test and the big tent that I stick to the fundamentals of growing and add things I see benefit from these tests.
Always got a test tent going where I can try these fly by night ideas. Some work, some don't.
