//Well if you get pulled over by a deputy,he has the last word in deciding if you go to
jail or not but remember its only if you have 2oz or less. 2oz is not that bad, but
its the plants that Im more worried about.

I've searched for cultivation laws in TX, but couldn't really find anything...I'm pretty sure, if your not a teenager with seedlings, your going to jail regardless..

There are no specific cultivation laws in the stae of Texas, they hit you with manufacturing of a controlled substance which sucks, just like a meth cook.

Correct, it is the officers discression but that has rarely if ever been my experience, they are rabid down there..2oz's your goin to jail for sure, a class C misdimeaner is all they can write citations for and in some towns like Austin they are a little more leaniant but I wouldn't get caught with a joint in Henderson county or any small town action like that.

Stay under 4oz and skirt the felony

//All the Medical Marijuana bills here in TX have been a TOTAL faliure. Our Governers
Conservative ways is why no MM law exist to date.

//I truly believe TX will be the 50th state to pass a MM bill. I just hope I'm still alive by
then.

It only misses by a couple of votes each time though but at least it makes it to the ballots.

Bible belt is strong, I mean it is still illegal to sell pantyhose on Sunday down there lol for real

HB 1491, a Medical Marijuana Affirmative Defense bill has been introduced in the Texas House of Representatives by Rep. Elliot Naishtat and will soon be going to committee and we need all hands on deck to get this passed. Here is the bill in its entirety with a short paragraph after every section explaining what it means to us here in the Lone Star State. Please read the bill and call, email and write your representatives about HB 1491 and HB 548 and check out our “Activism” Page for the latest news and contact information.

I'm willing to bet the state I live in (your neighboring northern state) has less of a chance than Texas, hahaha

Good luck fellas, I've recently had a boat-load of homies move to Austin, if this passes I'm gonna join em. I've lived in Dallas (twice), fuck that town. Austin or San Antonio… or hell, I'd even move in Denton… anyways, I really hope it passes! I wish I still could vote in TX.

Yea I was born n raised around the Houston area, dont live there now but will hopefully retire n die in TX. The law men there aint the nicest, but by no means r as shitty as Phoenix was. That is the asshole of America IMO, it would take an act of God to get me back there. I would vote to make the entire valley of Phoenix a landfill. It would benefit us all.

Thanks for the links Texas Kid

No Joke Chronic. You think TX is bad go to OK.

A pipe with resin on it can land you in jail. Same thing with a spec of weed on your carpet in your car.
