How i yearn for warmer weather i bet you do to. Best of luck with the seed roulette.
That’s the fun part. I’ve done this many times and sometimes you get a flock of dudes and others you hit the jackpot. Who needs casinos?! 🤣

Right now it’s been nice week / bad week / repeat so I can’t wait for it to warm up. We only got one hard freeze so I’m pretty thankful for that and so are my wife’s flowers. Soon my friends… soon. 🪴

Wtf going on in CA? I'm watching these eagles on big bear lake still getting pounded with snow thinking they're in nocal but when I looked at the map they're in fucking San Bernardino!!!

If they moved a few miles down the road it's 60° lol

Yeah, those mountains down there surrounding the LA basin are 10,000 footers! They are up there! They like to say that you can snow ski and surf the same day! Mount San Jacinto is just shy of 11,000 feet!

I watched mama laying on her babies during the heavy snowstorm last month. She looked pissed. All you could see was her head.

I’ve hiked San Jacinto and it ain’t no little mountain.

What elevation are you at TGR? The highest I’ve been is 12,500! Saw tooth peak right up the road from you Sequoia Way!

My grandparents have a cabin in the Rockies that sits at 9,999 feet in elevation a little ways from Florissant CO. We used to hike upwards from that so I have no idea how high up I’ve been. I will tell you that the higher you go, the quicker stuff hits ya! 😁

excellent choice lmao.

make sure ya save a spot for a Peaceblaster f2 theyll be on their way probably friday or saturday. Fems too so they wont take up a bunch of your time or space to get going. Itd def be worth throwing at least one outside though for sure. The pure peaceblasters do so well outdoors at elevation and in the heat its a bit crazy. Theyll even take rain and storms just a nicely.

Cant wait to show off some ripe PB4 bud shots in a few weeks. Yea shes the least impressive in there right now, but just wait. By finish she'll prob be the most impressive buds in the tent. Shell just be getting into her final swell phase as everything else is getting the chop.

If ya think PB4 aint much to look at right now compared to the others, just wait til shes done. She has a certain grace about her. She waits til everything else is out of the way to crack her knuckles and put on her makeup. 😉 💚 thats what she did last fall, and thats what shes doing in tent 2 right now.

Expect late october/early november for the peaceblaster f2 and the pb4 x haymeadow as well btw. Expect late november possibly even early december harvest on the pure land races.

Its a shame most breeders dont focus on keeping linages around for outdoor specifically. Even ones with "outdoor lineages" theyre just popping the label on seeds they think would do ok outside. Those are not outdoor plants lmao.

There is a HUGE difference between a plant legitimately capable of taking on the natural world vs most modern seedbank lineages that are essentially a crosseyed pug regardless how dank they are, a bull mastiff and a pug are two totally different animals imho. It's easier to sell a pug to a good, proper home then a mastiff mix, and you can charge more for it too though, so i understand why seedbanks dont breed outdoor specific lineages anymore, but its still a damn shame.

A pug wont tear up your furniture inside. A mastiff will. But which dog would you rather have in the wild with ya? If youre stuck in the wild surviving with a pug, you are going to end up eating that dog 100%. A mastiff will feed you just to make you smile though.

November / December is some Dr. Grinspoon vibes! I love it. That’s another one I want to chase down. Goofy little balls on a vine 🤣

like an oldschool creeper pheno? I haven't seen a plant like that in person in probably close to 20 years lol.

Ive had some super foxtaily hazes that vibe a bit like the grinspoon or an old creeper though. Nevils haze has some phenos known to do that kinda thing.

The pure columbian S1s should make some crazy long super foxtaily colas. The michoacan really likes to foxtail out too iirc. Theyre both hard to stop starring at. They wont creeper out quite like the grinspoon or nevils phenos, but it'll be a site to see for sure. crazy looking flowers. Spikey and foxtaily.

The Phlizon PH-D6 is dual channel only. No dimmer. Once I start the light change, I’m going to flip to the flower channel at the 14/10 mark. I want to leave it in bloom until week 4 of the cycle.

I’m thinking of running both channels (veg + grow) weeks 4-7 for the higher intensity and dropping back to flower only week 8 and beyond. Thoughts?

So it flips the spectrum more red in bloom mode?

I believe so.
Well back before led lights were a thing we had HPS and MH. The metal halide are "blue" and the sodium are "red" and you only ever used blue to veg. If you could only afford one or the other you went with HPS for both like I did because flower time is money time and you can can grow great flowers under sodium bulbs while the halide are poor finishers. We never used both at once because of heat and electricity but in my opinion the buds would have been better with a full spectrum all the time.

Those buttons on your light are basically like the same kind of switch. It's an idea that's been baked into cannabis cultivation since HID lights were the only option and blurple LEDs were a logical descendant.

So long story short I say leave em both all the time lol
