I can see some of the girls starting to complain via the new growth so I've got to do something with these plants that have been stuck in these 5-inch squares for far too long..!

Remo chemo × gunslinger

Most of these plants will be in bloom within the next week or so so I need to give their Roots a little time to set, so I've got to do it today, wanted to do it yesterday :/

Now that I know that other people have run into muddy bags of compost it's mainly the bug that concern me so whereas it's a Miracle Grow product & it was a fresh skid so I'm going to give it a try!

Edit: so what I'm going to do is with cuts that I only have one of like this Remo that I made I'm going to put it in my old soil mix;

everything I have backed up will go into the new mix, & I'll put one that I have doubles of that's backed up into 100% pro mix, once I find out how much perlite I should mix with it for best results? This is a big step holyshit!

So today my Beach is for the tourist (some may have heard the song in 'what are you listening to right now' thread regarding tourists that I posted not too long ago LOL if not forget about it), so forget about the beach today, & tomorrow it's going to rain so let's see if we can make this ocean style right here!?

.. really wish I grabbed that mushroom compost because until I decide what I want to do with this muddy Miracle-Gro compost I have stopped my project, and I really need to get a few plants up potted cuz they're going into flower within a week because I'm going to have several vacancies in the bloom room soon

.. I'm still on the fence, I had a plan I searched a bunch of soil recipes & I was going with something very simple but I don't know what I'm going to do now if I'm honest? Even if I go up and grab a bag of the mushroom compost it's very likely going to be just as wet as this stuff cuz it was right next to it, I thought the bag looked sealed well and I took one from way under the rack which I thought was kind of centered and would be the driest but obviously that didn't work out :/

Edit: while I'm at it (and I hope I'm not breaking any rules) I'd like to offer a prayer for the people of the islands and of the Southeast U.S. Coast who are dealing with a monster of a hurricane

Have you seen the movie Sharknado? I picture sharks flying through the air and attacking you in your beach town. :-)

But seriously i have my mom and brother and family in Jacksonville. They may be right in the path of the storm.

Yes I have seen it! lol

Dude! All the best wishes for your family! This is a big big storm I really hope this thing stays offshore like they seem to think it may but even then there's going to be a lot of impact, the Bahamas are deep in it now!

2 parts ffof
1 part worm castings
1 part compost
1part Pro mix
1 part perlite
3 tbs. dolomite

It may look wet from the picture but it's dry as a bone and fluffy! it's a beautiful consistency. I'm not trying to make a super soil I don't have an issue feeding it nutes but I doubt I be feeding this mix for a while?

..but we'll know as soon as the slurry results are ready in about 10 more minutes?

Edit: slurry= ppm435, pH6.7

*A note on the Remo chemo cross above, that seedling struggled in ffof, must have been 3 years ago or more when I started running the remos I wasn't mixing the ffof well, pretty much just scooping it out of the bag and using it as is.

I saved it but since then it will tolerate almost nko nutes and I mean none (I can't begin to tell you how little I feed that plant!?) and she's had the curled tips since that happened (both my keepers are the sativa pheno)

& even the remo cross in the picture in above post has the curly leaf trait to a lesser degree. Remo#2 is my favorite of the two keepers, in fact I may not even run #1 again? Remo is a great smoke, I'm hoping her cross works out well too!?

Caught my first saltwater fish within a hundred feet or so of this Memorial over half a century ago. It was a mackerel & we let it go! :)

This particular Indian bubble gum went into the bloom room today, she's got a lot of tops..

She replaced a ripe Indian bubble gum that is currently getting 24 hours of dark, not because I do that on purpose but because I do harvest whenever I can after the dark period.

plus if I'm honest I don't feel like trimming today; 10 hours of up-potting yesterday and I'm good for today believe me! I'm going to lay on my ass and relax all day!

A little more about the plight of my little remo#2, this is her from another grow journal on a different site. I thought I started them a couple years ago but it was closer to 15 months, even though I think I've only run them both once maybe one I ran twice?

number 1 is on the left and number 2 the smaller one is on the right & the picture is before she started to struggle probably taken on the day I transplanted them both into soil

Mood for a day:

This is my favorite beach weather, mostly sunny, mid70's, and there's not much nice beach weather left either, but guess what I'll be doing all day?

Trimming! :/

not complaining I'd rather have bud to trim than not but this Indian bubble gum plant has got a million little puffball buds, heres a few..

done! 6 hours, not bad, this however is a legitimate cramp
notice the index and ring finger and maybe some thumb was involved that time, but this didn't happen from trimming; this started last night in my right hand during a Bocce match.

When (if) you hit my age arthritis just goes along with it :/ but that's the reason for the darker than usual mood at the beach house today

Think I'll run with it..
(I freely admit that I am in ^ love with Margo Timmins)

Been doing this about 20 years, usually it'll snap out of it before too long, and I don't have any of that thickening on the palms? :/ I've been told it's from the neck nerve damage from an accident I had in the late 90s? But honestly I don't know? But at least I got the bud hanging! :) LOL!
