Thanks for the tip, I'm going to give the beer cans and the copper a try first as I'm not comfortable around fiberglass installation, I have respiratory issues from past chemical exposures in the workplaceI cant remember where i read or heard it, may have been here. Something about wrapping fiberglass insulation around the stalk will keep them off

I'm going to go out one of these afternoons with a fat joint and can of beer with wire strippers and get some made to give it a try, not having too much of a problem this year so far tho, something got one of my tomatoes pretty good but I pulled that leaf offWire has kept this baby clean since her first bites

I had wire around the bottom of their cups and now around their stems.
Copper is the only thing I've found to work on the types of slugs and snails I've got here. I've gotta make some more right now![]()

I sprayed them with neem, they're just barely starting to flower so it won't be a thing
