I have played chess since I was a kid. Mostly for fun. Never seriously studied tactics and opening ect. Had a lot of joy playing online over the years. Sadly Stockfish has ruined most online chess play. I do go once a month to the local chess and coffee just to see how bad I really am haha. Even taught my wife to play so i had someone to play with.

Chess twins is prob my fav content on youtube to watch. Nothing better then watching a youngin in NY hustle some hustlers. Even to this day the level guys play at in Blitz games is insane to me.

I used to paly yahoo but yahoo sucks ( I'll say no more) but have only been playing my computer chess, no real humans until a week or two ago I found the chess.com site and I've been winning and losing to humans for a change. I just thought its kind of a smokers game some here must play.

Gees I had a jolt today, I watered one kc39 with a 7.2 ph and I checked the run off and it was 10.75 WTF I thought what have I done? too much lime I looked at the top and its all gone so none to scrape off. Now what? Somethings wrong with the tester, so I check our house water and its 6.9 wtf I check the sample again 10.75. The dropper I use to suck the sample out I'd used the day before to add ph up.........oops new sample new clean dropper it comes back 6.25 lol gotta check your equipment first. panic diverted, smoke and celebrate things are good after all.

I think I seen the same post and I tried- put in water just until they cracked Then transferred to a coffee filter till tap started to curl then moved to soil I was 4 for 4 !

I am getting old and declining in health I keep several employed and probably making overtime. I'm not a business owner so it's all I can do. All jokes aside it take a very special type of person to do these jobs. I just wish they were better compensated for doing so.

One of my main bitches with the polititions is sending kids into their war and not compensating them properly if they get wounded doing their dirty work for them. To me it should mean tax free for life to start, you've paid your taxes via your service and proper health care if injured on the job.
What do these out of touch over paid over compensated golden pensioned aholes do for their soldiers? Pretend like its their fault for getting injured and give them substandard health care and pensions. Tax free for life would be a good start.

Hi, in looking through dirtbags posting #89 he's got a method of feeding that makes the smoke burn clean.

"Long story short, bloom ratio nutrients with high P are the primary cause of bad burning pot. The high P is the reason most people need to do a 2 week flush, it's not to get the N out, it's actually to get the P out. Cannabis uses a lot more N in flower than P.
Using an NPK of about 3-2-4 all the way from start to finish grows better bud, and allows you to keep feeding to the end without the need for a long "flush".

I'll admit to being skeptical at first, but having tried it, and also having my buddy who owns an LP confirm it, I'm sold. "

With my GH 3 part system I use Brown/Green/Pink lol his comments are Greek to me with the micro being 5-0-1 /Grow 2-1-6 and Bloom being 0-5-4 what when and how much off each is my question. right now I'm doing 5mil =1tsp micro 5mil Grow 10 mil bloom and 2.5 mil Kool Bloomon the first week of flower.

He suggest that I " just based on NPK something like 1.5 micro, 1 grow, 1 bloom would give a decent ratio. And I'd cut koolbloom all together. "

I have 2 KC39's 1 week into flower and it gives me an opportunity to test his method 1 plant my normal feed and 1 his method if I could figure out exactly what % of each I should give them. He suggested I fiddle with % but I'll fry the thing for sure or underfeed to the point of death lol. I'm the senior in line fiddling with change in the grocery store. It takes me a bit to catch on to things sometimes.

Any help you can offer would be great....thanks

It doesnt need to be complicated. Just try to stick with the veg directions. First 4 weeks usually on the bottle.

Ideally the potassium would be higher than the nitrogen and the phosphorous lower than both. He used pure blend pro grow which is like that.

But i have used others with higher nitrogen listed and as long as you taper down the strength as the plant ripens and need less nutes it will work fine.

It is only the opposite of the weed specific nute company directions and the forums. Not general gardening info. Or even the old weed grow books. Pk products are used once or twice as needed.

You just complicated it. You're talking to someone with the IQ of a carrot. I need numbers please. the nutes are not just N - P - K each bottle has a portion of each nutrient and at this point in my grow ( 1 week into flower) in 3 gallon pots I give them 1tsp of M&G and 2 tsp of the bloom. I'm also feeding them Kool Bloom at .5 tsp / gallon which they recommend up to 2tsp per gallon and 3tsp of bloom per gallon in mid flower. I know it shouldn't be complicated but unless I get it I can't do it.

We're still talking about GH right? (agree skip the koolbloom btw) I used GH exactly as directed, only at varying percentages

Sometime later today I'll grab a screenshot of the feed chart on a GH jug and I can tell you exactly how I used through veg, transition and Bloom

I don't have any problem with harsh burning bud and plenty of white ash, whatever that really means? Like MiMed says it's all about the taper at the end in my opinion

I've got the chart its on each bottle, thats what I go by, but if I have to cut back on phosphorus that means no Bloom at all, counter to what I've always done & recommended. When I added the Kool Bloom I did notice firmer buds so scratch scratch . Just grow and micro? and I thought I was supposed to cut back on grow. .........Lets just skip this thought altogether. I think I'll try one no bloom and one with and try dirtbags method another time. I get No Kool Bloom and I have one I've only given a taste of the stuff to her. So #1 KC39 no more KoolBloom. lol
I'm just too old and my wife is older, Hearing going, Glasses are now a must, joints ache, pecker doesn't come to attention in the morning any more. 2 bionic hips and a stainless steel rod in my leg, hydrocele, sleep apnea, thyroid meds hairs falling out on top and I think the brain is malfunctioning some times. And I feel better now than I have since I was 50 lol.

The big factor I've seen is light intensity; eg: when I run my 1000watt HPS at 600w there's a noticeable difference in density

Dimmed hps bulbs lose the peaks in the spectrum. I think that is why. With dense strains my 600 gets them rock hard.

Aren't the first 4 weeks of directions only grow and micro? Im saying stick to week 4 right through peak flower and just taper the strength of the nute mixture down a little at a time the last 2-3 weeks.

We just are not changing to the bloom bottle. And no other bloom boosters.

I've always done all 3 grow micro bloom in small doses gradually increasing to the recommended numbers 1tsp-1tsp-1tsp/gal and I stay there until I'm going to flip them. Then I double up the bloom to 10 mil/gal and add the Kool Bloom starting at 2.5 then moving it up gradually to 10 mil /gal until week 7 where i ween them back to 5mil each/gal then week 7.5 drop them all and water only til they're done.
Then I come here and see the plants and different methods of growing, I want to take the best and leave the rest of the information behind so as not to clutter my grey matter anymore than it all ready is. I have lots of small pieces of info lodge in my head and that gets me in trouble when I think I know something I don't.
