Thank you all for your input, I appreciate it and so do my cataracts LOL

I agree with what was said;

The black dog looks dead ripe;

And the Indian bubble gum looks like it needs a little more time

Believe it or not this was the black dog just this past Thursday..

So when I saw it this morning I had to ask because it sure ripened quick!?

Thanks I love the black dog it smells so strong and rude! I get black cherry, (sometimes Blackberry) & charcoal lighter fluid!

Looks fantastic man, nice work! And whoa, 12+ weeks of flower on the bubblegum hey? That's wild man. Gonna be some potent smoke I bet.

Thanks for the kind words, the dog ripened so quickly since Thursday I almost can't believe it?!

The bubble gum is only about 80 days so far but it looks like it's going to need 7 to 10 more, I have it written down somewhere but it's about 90 days

It's popular for a quick, happy & uplifting buzz (although it doesn't last too long), so I'm going to make sure it doesn't go too amber

Black dog clones; there's an Indian bubblegum in there (rt.) and The Little Seedling in the middle is a Blackberry Bubblegum
^ this batch was in 2 to 1perlite/vermiculite

The next batch is in 2 to 1 Pro mix/perlite for a little experiment

"Sailor Ripley you better drive me home cuz you've got me hotter than Georgia asphalt"

love the mellow classics in the morning!

*What I've noticed about these 5 gallon grow bags is without the little hole in the bottom I don't really know when to water I'm forever sticking my little finger in the bottom (excuse the double entendre, too early to laugh about it anyway) but that's how I know when to water!?

How many times have I told a newb how to do a wet/dry cycle by filling up a same size pot and keeping it dry LOL I guess I know my next course of action ..oh my God! just kidding but I did have the thought

On the positive with the grow bags I put a thin shish kabob skewer all the way down near the outside to see if it came up wet at the bottom and I felt the definite resistance of roots! And they've only been in those bags a few days

UPDATE:

Mazzy Star* went into bloom yesterday. Unusual plant, she wants to grow one main Cola like a Christmas tree but as soon as I top it it turns oddly bushy!

You have to be pretty careful as the bags will dry out all the way around once the surface is dry.
From the outside in.
I let the top 2 inches dry then water till it starts to come out, sometimes everywhere. Then 10% more and let it pull it back up.

Thanks because I haven't been sure? I've kind of been going by weight but I'm thinking if I poke a hole in the bottom I don't think that'll hurt anyting and then I can put my finger in like I'm used to doing..

still not sure about these bags, get used to em' eventually like anything else I suppose, don't think I'm going to use them much tho,

only when a plant gets too big like these two, well one of these would have been fine but the other one definitely was root bound or well on its way

hey thanks for stopping by if you read through I drone on endlessly about the most mundane things, hope it helps?! If you have any specific questions just ask!

Did you get your meters yet? I use aquarium drops $5, plus a basic PPM meter for about ten bucks and you'll have a good start!

So we're approaching 90 days and they're still unbelievably clear?!?

I'd have to look it up but I think these go about 90 days in the Heat and a little over a hundred this time of year

I'm not blooming Indian Bubblegum again for awhile :/

✌
