I know it sounds funny, I laughed too. The plant is finicky and with the feeding chart(AKA Secret Recipe), the work is done for you.
It's a General Hydroponics recipe, I use House & Garden. I'm sure people can figure out a conversion that works with their base nutes. My friend runs a commercial grow, the BTY is one of the strains that is run. They use a different recipe for each strain. I'm not allowed to take pictures and I probably wouldn't anyways. When someone new gets the cut, the buds don't fill out and they usually go WTF, it takes them a few runs to figure it out. I get BTY nugs for free, the plant is pulled at 45-55 days, so I don't even get to see its full potential. The BTY was on lock, I don't grow it but I know a few who do. It's a long story but I was suppose to have the cut over a year ago. I didn't acquire the cut till recently.
I also have several other OG's that I'm completely happy with, it's just fun to try out new strains.

I find the most hyped moniker OG Kushes are from the most avg growers, ime. It's the OG Kush that stands out if it's grown really well, not the moniker imo. I'd put my OGK against any other, it's as good as OGK gets. It does differ but I don't think it is any better, just different and that's where personal preferance comes into factoring. I'm ok with tahoe og and this one, all others are just names to me. But I'm sure you'd tell me BTY is the best...blah blah
