Depends on a lot of factors. The LED seem to work well. But so do my antiquated danger bulbs with witch hat reflectors. Maybe even better. I was given these LEDs to test out, and honestly I really like how it's allowed me to tick the room up a notch.

I’m a first time grower using SF lights and for the dimmer it’s worth it alone. Other lights have dimmers I’m sure but SF seems to be making great lights for the money and probably can’t beat it. Seemed the way to go for me.

I've helped you before, not attacking you. If you can't handle being called out on suspect promotion, maybe this isn't the place for you.

Just saying you drop SF in all caps in a promotional tone. everyone knows at this point they're Mars Hydro and rebranding their garbage warez. That's why MiMed got kicked from here, for calling them on their shit and calling out the alleged kickbacks that are given to this platform for allowing them to hustle their warez.

Here are a few real, GOOD LED manufacturers (including other chinese garbage):

Gavita
Enfun
HLG

Calling it as I see it. If I'm next on the list, good knowin y'all. I would rather not be interacting with shills if that's what comes of it.

what about chilled? ill look into those then, rebranding seems sketchy.

I'm going to do a hybrid of all my methods this run. Pay some homage to Mr MiMed and leave some leaves on. I miss that crusty old goat.
But I think leaving enough on for solid photosynthesis during flower is a safer bet on an unknown strain.
This wedding crasher I know does well with a full strip growth wise, but it can toss a nanner and give you the odd seeded bud. That what I'm trying to avoid this round. Minimal stress once in flower

ya, after my current run i've noticed a lot of difference when diffoliatied to 3rd node before flower and the minor peeking zg some fan leaves during finals. i'd appreciate it if you could share a before and after picture of a single plant once you've defoliated. I like to see and compare them so i can see how i can make mine better.

look at real reputable brands. not the shit you find on amazon (aside from enfun, i can personally vouch for their diodes and ballasts -- they're also not out here giving free shit away on forums, just saying). if a product is sold by a little mom and pop shop, it's likely good. they don't want to deal with you bitching at them about poor quality, failure, burning your house down because of garbage QC.

I'll have a full room pic in a couple hrs. But I'm playing it safe. Pulling big fans, anything blocking budsites or clogging airflow. Leaving the rest.

ok, HOW DO I KNOW what the REAL REPUTABLE BRANDS ARE when theres fucking 1000 different ones? holy fuck.

thats what i try to stick to, just the leaves blocking budsites and ventilation, otherwise i go overboard.

- Google "hydro store"
- Find their light section
- Click LED lights
- Observe brands they sell
