Finally! The blueberry has arrived. Ive got the 2x4 empty atm tempting to get a couple of these blueberry going. Undecided. The freebies might be some heat too.

Ive got a teaser of the new starts. Just the prototype run if you will. This fruity pebbles photo lost her shell and stood up 3 days ago. She was above ground 4 days ago but she was still doing that bent over in a u shape thing. Count it however you like 3-4 day old seedling.

Can I get some thoughts and opinions on the start? For anyone who has paid attention to root development, would you say this is accelerated?

I top dressed the 5x5 tent on 4/19 day 25. My blueprint for this run had me top dressing at day 21 but I wanted to water in with my weekly cocktail of beneficials on Sunday. Each pot got the same recipe.

Gaia Green All-Purpose: 2 tbsp
Gaia Green Power Bloom: 4 tbsp
Wiggleworm EWC: 2 cups
Crustacean Meal: 1 tbsp
Soft Rock Phosphate: 1.5 tbsp
Langbeinite: 1 tbsp
Gypsum: 1 tbsp
Alfalfa Meal: 1 tbsp
Charged Biochar: 2 tbsp

All 5x5 plants are in stretch or have been showing pistils for a bit now. This last Sunday I switched to the bloom cocktail.

Weekly cocktail hand watered on Sundays.

veg mix (per 1 gallon of water)
0.5 ml powersi
1 ml mr fulvic
1/2 tsp rootwise mycrobe complete
1/16 tsp yucca extract

bloom mix (per 1 gallon of water)
0.5 ml powersi
1 ml mr fulvic
2 ml microbial mass
1/16 tsp yucca extract

The green rack is so the tap root air prunes. Roots act the same as branches regarding apical dominance and what happens when you break it. So when you air prune the tap root it signals to send out tons of “lateral” roots. In theory this explosion of roots and larger starting root ball results in more vigorous development. Here’s the fruity pebbles starting to come out the sides.

Here you can see it better. See how the tap is skinny and curled. It’s been hanging through the rack drying out.

What are y thinking about those roots? 😆 https://www.thcfarmer.com/threads/h...abin.165303/page-10?post=3420078#post-3420078

My first Gushers seed in the coco damped off. Hindsight I made a mistake by putting the presoaked and partially cracked seed into a fully soaked plug.

Second seed is just getting to the surface.

What do you even do with something like this? I didn't get the good before shoot but you can see the before in this group shot.

I was planning to let this grow more towards the natural side of things but once I got to looking at the structure, this pretty much had to be done.

Probably the same issue I had with my seeds in rockwool..
Those jiffys are with Coco inside?
Very informative root knowledge!
A friend likes to start in jiffys, give him a hint with the big ones, here we just saw small ones to buy.

Yes coco but only because that was all I could get in time. This sounds stupid giving advice on something I havent used yet but from everything Ive read and looked at Eazy Plugs are probably the best choice for organic soil.
