What are y thinking about those roots?The green rack is so the tap root air prunes. Roots act the same as branches regarding apical dominance and what happens when you break it. So when you air prune the tap root it signals to send out tons of “lateral” roots. In theory this explosion of roots and larger starting root ball results in more vigorous development. Here’s the fruity pebbles starting to come out the sides.

I was planning to let this grow more towards the natural side of things but once I got to looking at the structure, this pretty much had to be done.

Probably the same issue I had with my seeds in rockwool..My first Gushers seed in the coco damped off. Hindsight I made a mistake by putting the presoaked and partially cracked seed into a fully soaked plug.
Second seed is just getting to the surface.

Yes coco but only because that was all I could get in time. This sounds stupid giving advice on something I havent used yet but from everything Ive read and looked at Eazy Plugs are probably the best choice for organic soil.Probably the same issue I had with my seeds in rockwool..
Those jiffys are with Coco inside?

A friend likes to start in jiffys, give him a hint with the big ones, here we just saw small ones to buy.
