A water report isn't always up to current date. As well as there going to be fluctuations from day to day. They test multiple faucets throughout that area the water is being dispensed. So your faucet may fall in the lower range, or the higher range for your area. They will have dates on the water information chart as well, if it's recent, it may be a good starting point, otherwise you can buy a drinking water test kit for less than $15 and adjust accordingly. Running tap is fine as long as you are staying up on the ppm in your reservoir. You can get a very affordable ro system and you can get the hoses and the direction t for the faucet from the washer valve and hook up the ro filtration system. If you have 400 for seeds, I'm guessing you afford a $250 ro setup.
