Go get yourself one of these xs 1500 pros today. They have lens covers over the diodes which help to create a more even corner to corner coverage.

Any of you 2x2 growers on here, this light is PERFECT for a 2x2. 2 of them would be great in a 2x4. Youd be very surprised what this little light can do.

According to my photone app, at 12 inches, this little light was pushing 900ppfd in the corners of a 2x2.

My 450 watt quantum board from phlizon cant even hit those numbers at 12 inches above the canopy.

I love the old xs1500 it's really a little power house. Hell It worked so well I picked up a p2500. Both of them in a 3x3 absolutely kill it. 4 xs1500's daisey chained in a 4x4 would be perfect πŸ₯° I'm my mind

Yeah this new light is a beast.
Nice lookin plants man!
Id be curious to see 4 of them in a 4x4 but to many wires for my ocd.

Hmmm... IDK about that. It seems the company is competing aggressively. That's not a dreadful thing to do, especially if the result is better growing technology for us. I see no reason other companies shouldn't do the same.
I did this cause my wife said id be stupid not to. Even if i have to send it all back when its over idc. At least i get to test some nice stuff.

A couple questions on the xs1500 pro. Is the ballast detachable? Been on the site and can't find whether it is or not.

Second the par output looks off the chart for a 2x2. I am looking at setting up a 3x3 for a 2 plant auto grow so there is some room to work around the plants. I see Viper says ideal for 2x2 or 3x3. But no par chart for 3x3. With just 2 plants in the tent wondering if it would work with those par numbers from 2x2. Right now its a crazy good deal price wise. Before seeing the price and par numbers the light I was looking at was the Vipar KS3000. Which is double $. Wondering if deal will fit situation.

The driver is not detachable, but so far it hasnt been an issue heat wise.

The par rating is insane, its a beast in my 2x2. It will definitely have enough power to veg a 3x3 on 100%, but id recommend 2 for a 3x3.

Or even going with the ks3000 as i have one on the way for my 3x3. Its gonna be a nice fit and wicked nice light. For a 3x3 id think your best option will be the ks3000.

Thanks. Buying two 1500's is still cheaper than the KS3000. For me the non detachable ballasts may be a deal breaker because my grow space will have heat issues in the summer. But $80 cheaper....But the KS3000...lol back to researching.

Yeah im sure 2 of them would run some heat but the one i have in a 2x2 doesnt get that hot and its in my kitchen, and thats the warmest room in my house.

Look at a the p2000 because it's a little cheaper and covers more areaπŸ˜‰ if you could find a deal on a couple of p2500's would be better.
