I figured someone would've responded here. I personally don't have my profile set and I believe many people still use their own variations. However, I do have several profiles written down that various people use.

I know there are tons of other "named" profiles over the last 100 years and I'm probably excluding many that are over 20 years or so. These are various profiles that I know have been used with any great frequency for the last 5-6 years I suppose. Really there are a lot of similarities to them all and if you follow from the first mention of the 3-1-2 ratio; you can see where everyone made changes and such.
I know this doesn't end up saying how you should run, but many of these are pretty darn close. Exlcuding the lucas formula all ratios are appx 2-3 : 1 : 3.5-4.5
Hope this helps
where are you located? I have had sourcing problems as well.... in northern Oregon an ag distributer Marion Ag carries salts.....I usually have to have them shipped....customhydronutrients.com carry 1 and 4 lb salt bags.... It costs more in shipping than the salts itself.... but I am still using the salts I purchased last year.... I run coco and use jacks with map, mkp, agsil, cano3, mgso4,k2so4 and m.o.s.t.........I have tried a lot of these recipies listed... all worked pretty well... Currently I am giving Capulators formula a try...... I believe it is veg.... 149-45-118-136-47-75 bloom...114-45-148-109-47-75.......n-p-k-ca-mg-s.....
ye sorry if those numbers were confusing. The numbers I gave are "ratio numbers" and also gave the "hinge" for that ratio. For example Fatman's 3-1-2 (with P hinge @ 40) would mean 3 x P is the nitrate value; or 120 ppm and 2 x P 80 would be the potassium value there. So, fatman's first veg targets would be 120-40-80 for ppms. The ratio's are often given instead of ppm's, and can be more simple, provided that they are given with one value known.
Make sure you get familiar with one of the calculators and good luck :)
a 50lb bag of yarra cal nitrate is about $25-35........ I still have a mostly full 5 gallon pail.... bought it a year ago.... use around 300gal a week. Although the first six months of the year I was using around 150-200 a week.I'm still going thru that thread, thanks bud I appreciate the help. Do you mind if I bounce a few things off you via pm when I get goin(still looking for salts)?
What you guys paying for 50 lb bags of calnit etc? How long does it last you?
I use about 40gal every other day, I plan to make a A&B stock solutions and tweek it from there.

There's also kelp 4 less, crop king , mbferts, Haifa and a few other salt sources..
Once u go salts there's no looking back...
Very great read is the cheap alternative thread on here and the fatmans thread too.. Really gives u a good idea.. Best of luck..
The savings is pretty awesome... Gh is great base but to formulate something similar with any bottle fertilizer u would be running through a lot of bottles..
Many of the profiles u already mentioned all work, u just have to make sure the apply correctly to ur needs..
Btw the ratios % are relating to how much ppm of each element.. What ur referring to the hinge factor, really ends up being the lowest common denominator per say.. 100-100-200 = 400ppm so reducing this to the lowest factor u would get 1-1-2..
2-1-4, 1-1-4,2-1-3,1.5-1-3.5 , they all work if u have something u currently like or u like the look of ur current product, just match ur salt version to it and go from there.. Makes for easy transition to the salts...
So from mbferts.com
Yara calcium nitrate 20lbs
Potassium nitrate 20lbs
Potassium chloride 5lbs
Mkp 20lbs
Magnesium sulfate 20lbs
Map 5lbs
Is going to cost 148 shipped
Looks like potassium sulfate is out of stock =(
I plan to call a bunch of places tomarrow
I'm still going to need some MOST or STEM which do you guys prefer?

www.custumhydronutrients.com will have K2SO4 I use most.
potassium sulfate I got is 0-0-52, I've seen them at 0-0-50 what's with the differance?
