I do outdoor medical grows in Hawaii. We have multiple seasons for growing cannabis per year, May through October is the typical long season but then from October through April, I can squeeze in 2 to 3 crops of short season. You just have to temper your expectations knowing that from October to April, you’ll never have 12 hours of daylight and I grow exclusively outside so I use that timeframe to push things into flower outdoors and breeding seed.
Last fall, I started a few different Landrace seeds my primary one I’m interested in is the Burmese strain. I have a Burmese seed that I was able to harvest the flower from but I left two branches on that I had pollinated so I got the harvest from the original seed I planted then I got the seed from the branches I pollinated. I left those on post harvest to finish them - this pale plant in the picture is re-veging where I left the seed branches on it reveged at that point so I not only got the harvest and I’m getting crops of seeds. I’ve now got a new female for long season oh, and I just made two clones of it.
