Hey guys, I'm stoked on my latest project.
I just coded an Arduino-code, with the equation for VPD in kPa, to control my humidifier and dehumidifier depending on temperature and desired VPD. I will have a potmeter and display where I can adjust desired VPD depending on what stage my plants are in.
This kit, all in with microprocessor, temp-/humidity-sensor, relays and display, costs less than $40. Arduino is so friggin amazing.
The sensors are more than accurate enough for the job.

Just wanted to tell you guys this in case you haven't heard of Arduino. I'd be happy to share my short and simple code with anyone who wants to give it a try!

Who doesn't like the idea of having optimal VPD 24/7, without any effort. Now I can go away for the weekend again, without worrying about VPD/mold.
It can of course also be setup with an AC and create ideal curing conditions. I'm gonna buy a fridge at some point and use Arduino to make a cold-curer.

Both projects saves me what, $2k-3k?
