One thing that is insane with this led bars is when i was using HPS the center @50 cm from the canopy was giving me 1000ppfd (i always flowered at that height), but the corners of the tent would be 400ish ppfd

now with the led bars at 60cm from canopy it is at 900ppfd (witch will be my new target because full spectrum efficiency), but the corners are 625ppfd, thats fire!!! Huge increase, im sure yield will raise considerably.

So,would you recommend switching?I have a 2-1 metre tent right now but I always have problems getting to the bottom branches so get a lot of popcorn buds!Im going bigger in April to a 2-3 metre tent but I’m unsure wether to get 2 x 600w hps or get some LEDs!What do you think would be best?I live in Scotland so it gets pretty hot in ju/ju/august time!I grow at any time,doesn’t bother me!Did you switch and if so,how have you found it yourself?Thanks bud!

Hps definitely has better penetration into the canopy than LEDs bars dor some reason, and is a easier lamp to deal with overall, said that, LEDs produce some fine quality terpenes and rock hard nugs, less fox tails and can last for a decade without need to change. If going led buy with the best you can afford of the big manufacturers. And if the weather get too cold for LEDs isn't good you will need some way to heat the room. Mix spectrum hps + led would be the perfect situation in any situation.

Transplanted its gonna get packed in here lol, too big plants, lets see if i will have to supercrop or put a net this time.

those were vegged 100% organic and will flower in carolina soil 50/50 peat/perlite, with two feed chemical fert and one feed liquid organics

3 kosher cookies from seed (helping a friend do some selections)
1 headband #1
got those almost fully vegged.
those were vegged fully chemical and will be mixed chem/organic in flower too.

PC#6 is a chem citrus mix not lemony, tangie, orange, but a different kind of citrus mixed with a chemical cleaner and a little gassy lol

Purple Chems#6 in the back going nuts, maybe i will raise the shorties, with nets its tricky to raise stuff, will see how they finish the stretch first.

~3 weeks 12/12 ~1000+ppfd, 60% Humidity 26.5-28.5c during the day, 1200ppm CO2

Raised the lower ones, tricky shit, happy i didn't broke any bud site.

Preparing for the summer this year, instead of installing a new AC unit (from 1 ton to 2 tons), i'm starting to inject CO2 into the room witch now is completely sealed, only exausting if/when i need to at night, 3 days in and i can see some little difference deeper darker green and overall health is boosted, veg and clones also reacted really well to 1200ppm.
