I got my wife a lil better than normal camera for xmas last year and have yet to try it on the plants....been meaning to take some snaps w it for a proper potm entry. ....this blue dream rip wud make for some good shots
what are oyster crackers? if i want to really pimp my chili i will cook a shin of beef and mix it with the ground beef for texture but normally i just use good ground beef> Venison sounds like a great idea.My best chili is made w venison roast cubed w a lil beef fat as well mmmmmm!!!!!

I only got the 50mm the other day, its ok but i get on better with the 18-55 for bud shots.It's not just a 600d, it's a solid cam with some nice lenses. I bet you love that nifty fifty :D
