There is a pump right down the middle on the return to the controll reservoir.

I am just waiting on mine to come in, they had a huge backlog of late..I have a 8xl and a 12xl on the way.

Doubleds has a 100 gallon reservoir for 10 plants. What size do you use for x amount of plants and why?

My new full tilt setup has (2) 130 gallon res's for 12 sites, an active and a passive..

What a fun build.. thanks for the link to the buckets. To improve the system I would mount the pump at the tee and push my water to the res rather than pull it. Pumps are designed for pumping water, and then you can incorporate a venturi for your air. Sweet.

Doesn't leak a drop of water

Im gonna watch for this TK, post pics as soon as you get it. Lets see it in action of the real world.

HOw are you liking the vct tile on the floor??? Is it completly waterproof?? and did you install it on cement or wood??

I think with some basic construction/plumbing/hydroponic skills one can easily build the system but its always the pumps and power supplies that jump the price up. At least if you build your own you can modify it to your liking.

theres a guy on icmag who make a pretty sweet ripp off of the sub CC. if you have the time to source around for the parts, give it ago

Hey tex

I read you were looking for a way to put 6in and 8in holes in buckets. You might have figured this out already but they sell 6in bits you can put in a drill at homedepot. Im sure you could find a 8in somewhere. I use the 6in to drill holes in drywall. hope this helps

Heath Rob currently has a perpetual grow going on in a DIY recirculating system similar to this which holds 30 plants. Im thinking of making one myself the cost comes to approx £400.

I would prefer to purchase a ready made kit but for some reason recirculating systems arent popular in the UK.

I tried to reply to your PM but since I havnt made enough posts I cant PM. Id paste the link here but I dont wanna get banned. Is there another way?

He also has a super new stealth strain that hes working on it has a totally different structure it doesnt even look like cannabis.

He seems to be banned from the farm any idea why?

Has anyone looked into chiller sizing for this system?

We have a knockoff setup now and they're running 71-72*, higher than I'd like to see as we've had issues with rot in the past.

Would like a chiller that has a heater as well (suggestions?) seems like a small 1/4hp (less?) would work but I wanted to get an idea from someone who's done it.

4 tanks @ 27 gallon capacity (but maybe half filled?)
27g resevoir
5-6* ambiant drop
600gph pump

I did the equation and it seemed a 2.5 ton would be fine - Can anyone confirm?
