I like the 308 its fine caliber, some makes kick worse then others but not really that bad , my favorite cal. 243 I thinks its one of the best ever made, I use it Deer coyote etc. A couple years ago I was in Texas and me and my boy went to gun range , we shot every rifle , AR's handguns they had it was fun , we shot the Desert Eagle 50 cal. hand gun . that was fun

i guess it depends what ammo youre running... dude I shot some hornady .250 grain a tips out of the 700 that sure had some kickMan I remember my .308 kicking harder than my 270. But again my memory is shit lol, and I've owned a load of guns in my life. Maybe I'm thinking of my .243 which I KNOW kicks like a baby lol..Now I'm questioning everything ?!?!
I think the worst was my Marlin 444 hot loaded with heavy cast bullets... The fireball was awesome and everyone on the firing lines hair would jump when I shot it.. lol, that thing was obnoxious.

I know a lot of family back in NS and my wifes family in Winnipeg who love the .243 for deer. It's so mild shooting and the trajectory is so flat. Knocks deer over dead fast with the right bullets, and being so flat shooting it's easier to get good shot placement.

Gotta take this 308 for $220 with generic scope. My .22 remington cost $189 and felt and shot solid. I cant find this rifle for leas than 350 elsewhere. Walmart must be clearing it out cause only one left.

You cant go wrong for a .308 Remington at that price.

No I've lived in BC for almost 22 years. But I grew up there and still have family and friends there.

I lived in Langley for a while. The lower mainland BC sucks imho, the Island is really where it's at.cool been to B.C plenty spent some time in Langley but never really lived out there, but yeah I from N.S too
Back home I grew up in Pictou County, but have family as far as Havre Boucher.
