Im not sure if any of you are familiar with a company called Alien Labs, but i just found a fucking seed in an 8th of their fucking nightshade!!!! 😁 and it looks viable, not perfect but iv seen seeds like this grow! Wont be the next plant i grow, but im gonna grow this thing. Hopefully!

Also my plant is very happy after watering yesterday :)

It ain't over till the fat ladies sing!!!! 😄

They're swelling very nicely! Looks like the scrog net worked out well for your plant along with you having pruned it well. You can see each branch is full of flower sites up and down the branch and the spacing is great. Lots of light and air that can get down deep into the canopy.

I am seeing a bit of tip burn so you may want to back off a bit on the nute strength. Flower doesn't need as high a concentration of nutrients like veg does. A little goes a long way in flower. IIRC, you use powdered organic ferts so not much you can do about it other than keeoing an eye and making sure that you don't get any lockouts. When you take pictures look at your fans and other leaves for any discolorations or striations of color. These are the beginning signs of deficiencies or lockouts.

What are your light readings at the top bud? Have you been increasing your light energy incrementally? Temp and humidity levels?

Looking Good My Dude!!😎

My light readings are most likely the same as last time we spoke about them hahaha remember when i was thinking my plant might be getting light burn? Well i turned the lights down to 60% after that, and then slowly day by day increased them back to 100% and shes been lovin it :) i think it was around 900 PPFD when i used the 1ply toilet paper trick lol so maybe a little less than that since the tp lets more light through than a diffuser.

As for the nute burn, i actually havent seen anything yet, but i might be missing it if youre seein it. Are you seeing burnt tips or purple tips? Because those purple tips have been slowly showing on more leaves over time, i was assuming its a genetics thing. But now you got me thinkin, so im gonna double check when lights come back on.

Also i havent given any nutes in 2 waterings meow, but i did increase my frequency of watering, and if the plant absorbs more nutrients when it has more water then that would probably help explain any burning since my nutes are slower release than liquid nutes. Il double check my fan leaves as well. I know theres 1 unhappy fan leaf righmeow but i think thats just an old ass leaf that the plant is letting die off during flower. Not sure, il take a picture of it tonight lol

After looking at the photo again you are right. They are purple not brown.

900 PPFD? Great. They seem to really like the light energy. Maybe raise the PPFD another 50?

I might be able to do that by lowering my light a little bit, il have to test it out. Its hard in this little tent though, that oscilating fan takes a good amount of space hahaha i need to use a regular piece of paper as the diffuser too. Il definitely let you know!

Ok cool so i searched around the plant and found 3 (barely) booboo'd leaves 😁 super happy to see so few. One is that big fan leaf i talked about earlier today, and the other 2 are barely noticable, but theres a leeching of color on their outer ridges. Very faint, but its there. Gonna keep an eye on it, make sure theres nothin goin wrong before i hit vacation next week! And as you can see, the big fan leaf is right next to the humidifier, so probably being stressed by that as well.

I also picked up a few snapshots of my PPFD in my tent. Its much lower than the readings i got last time, at around 530 on the Photone app and about 600 on the Tent Buddy app. So i think i could probably lower the light some and still have a very happy plant. My light is exactly 12 inches from the top of the plant, so i might drop it to about 8 inches if i can get more out of her that way!

O i forgot about the humidity and temps lol theyve been as stable as i can possibly get them, which isnt perfect but its been pretty good so far. I took snapshots of my temps, humidity and vpd over the last week :)

Also, i lowered my lights to about 8 inches above the canopy top. Brought the PPFD up to 800. Im really hoping i dont stress her out by boosting the light so suddenly, but maybe that kind of stress at this point is a good thing for trichome development? I know part of the purpose of trichomes is to help reflect light from the plant so it isnt overwhelming, i think thats why cannabis shows up so easily when the feds would fly over with the UV detectors. Fuckers.

Anyways, no pretty plant pictures this time just screenshots of stuff haha

How do you guys feel about using oxygen absorbers during curing? Anyone have experience with it?

I saw a couple different things online.

1. Oxygen degrades THC to CBN, similar to light
2. Oxygen is good for breaking down chlorophyll
3. Need a food grade oxygen absorber
4. Size matters (lol)

It seems like its probably best to just let it cure normally until its at a point im happy with, and then put the oxygen absorbers in the jars that im gonna keep for a while without opening

@mstrpkl your plant looks awesome. So clean and healthy. I have 3 growing in one tent on my 1st grow since early 80's and to be honest I think mine look kinda like a train wreck compared to yours. Oh well. I am just learning. Hopefully next grow turns out better.
anyhow, from one AZ guy to another CHEERS.

Change the hours in the DLI calculator portion of Tent Buddy to 12 hours to give you the DLI you are at.
I actually did that last night after rereading what i posted here lol my DLI is a little over 35 right now. Not perfect, but not bad at all! Iv seen cannabis is able to handle anything from 30 to 60 during flower? Not sure how true that is, just because thats a HUGE range, but if thats the case then im hittin it real nice :)

So bringing my light closer to my plant DEFINITELY made her happy. Noticed a couple leaves worshipping the fuck out of the sun god lol so i actually brought the light even closer today, not by much because i had to lower my fan as much as possible which was only like an inch or 2 lol, but it made a slight difference! Il take whatever i can get, as long as she doesnt get stressed

God if i could describe the smell. Its SO GOOD!!! Fruit, citrus, gas, sweet..... aw yea. Insanely excited for harvest time. Really sad il be gone for a week soon, im gonna miss out on a whole weeks worth of growth! Got someone comin over to refill humidifier and just quick check on her, he understands plants but i dont think he knows shit about cannabis. Luckily he just has to refill the humidifier and tell me of anything smells or looks gross lol

Enjoy :)

Don't remember if I had posted this or not but here is a DLI chart that you can base your initial lighting on along with seeing how the light energy ladders up at both veg and flower. Notice how the light energy is lowered when you flip then slowly ramped up. I've noticed when I follow this chart, flower sites tend to pop up a little faster at flip. No science to say why but I'm guessing the drop in light energy gives the plant a chance to switch over and secrete the needed hormones it uses to signal the plant to start flowering without having to dedicate as many resources to photosynthesis due to the drop in light energy.
I started at the recommended levels but raised them a few points higher than what was recommended. The girls loved it. I kept raising the light energy little by little everyday until I started to notice the first signs of light stress then I backed it off and left it there. After that the girls just grew into the new levels every week.

And, yes, your light settings are in range according to the chart. Good Job Brother!!!

I wouldn't bother. Start reading up on the dry/cure process. This is the point that will make or break your grow so it's important.

You'll probably see the most bud swell the last few weeks before harvest. I'm guessing they'll get twice as thick as they are now.

I'd also venture to say you have between 4 -6 weeks before you enter the harvest window.
