This tent is just pulling air out, exhaust fan style.Thats a great idea! Stupid question, is your air pump sucking air out of the tent or blowing air in? Lol

Ok thats what i thought lol thanks dude! Probably gonna redo my setup just a little bit in the next day or 2 when i defoliate and water againThis tent is just pulling air out, exhaust fan style.
650 ppfd is good for now. When you're in flower you want to be around 800 - 900 ppfd during mid to late flower.Question for all you light gurus out there. I downloaded and app to my phone called Photone and used it to test my light. I know these values arent perfect because i dont have a diffuser, but are these readings good? This is what the meter is reading at the top of the canopy.
You can remove the filter. The filter is to remove odor but it is restricting your fans performance. Not by alot but if it isn't necessary no reason to have it.Does anyone think i should remove the carbon filter and air pump so i can give my plant more room to grow upward? Or do you think that might be a bad idea? It doesnt seem to be pumping a lot of heat out to be honest, and i dont care if it filters the smell out or not. My lady and i both work at a dispensary, the house always smells like weed anyways lol
Ok so il have to make sure my light is a little closer to the plant then. I think its a little over a foot away from the top of the plant right now. Might take that carbon filter out today and rearrange some things for more grow space.650 ppfd is good for now. When you're in flower you want to be around 800 - 900 ppfd during mid to late flower.
I think im gonna set the exhaust fan up on the outside of my tent, similar to how @AZreefer has his set up.You can remove the filter. The filter is to remove odor but it is restricting your fans performance. Not by alot but if it isn't necessary no reason to have it.
The ScrOG net you put up should prevent your plant from growing too high. I try and keep everything under the net until I start seeing pre pistils sprouting then I let them go vertical. The exhaust fan you have needs to stay there for air circulation.
I thought a 2nd one was used as opposed to moving the first? Would it be a pain in the ass to move it?I think im gonna set the exhaust fan up on the outside of my tent, similar to how @AZreefer has his set up.
For the scrog net, would you recommend i move that net up after a while for a 2nd scrogging? Lol like train the plant to grow wide and then use the 2nd layer to get more bud sites. Do you think thatd work or is that kind of a waste of time?
I think youre right on that, i think a 2nd would be way easier. Might have to invest in a 2nd net here pretty soonI thought a 2nd one was used as opposed to moving the first? Would it be a pain in the ass to move it?
I found a tag on the side, it is in fact a 5 gallon hahahaha i should have put more of my bag of soil in the pot, but il be able to fix that the next time i grow lolBro I'm stoned and smoking a joint so I reread your thread. You still in that 3 gallon? If you are you should get some bloom and bloom booster organic ferts to start feeding when you flip. Otherwise you should put the rest of your soil in a 7 gallon and repot into that and top it off with you old soil.
Now that you bring it up though, i am having a bit of a nutrient issue. I think. If it is an issue, im pretty sure its nitrogen toxicity. Seems minor so far but iv been keeping an eye on it since i noticed yesterdayRoots organic has both and they are not expensive. You can brew it for a bio recharge to your super soil then feed it directly. Or the purple cow line up bio recharge should be used before flower if not in a 7 gallon. Get a head of nutrient issues.
Those plants look first class to meNow that you bring it up though, i am having a bit of a nutrient issue. I think. If it is an issue, im pretty sure its nitrogen toxicity. Seems minor so far but iv been keeping an eye on it since i noticed yesterday
I don't think its anything to worry about unless there are other things you noticed. Some of my leaves did this a few days after I started running 2 oscillating fans above my canopy in my 5x5. I think if it were nitrogen toxicity, the whole leaf would be clawing down and it would look unwell and it would be more leaves effected, but I am new to living soil so wait for somebody else to give their opinion. Now that you bring it up though, i am having a bit of a nutrient issue. You're the 2nd person to recommend that. I'm gonna do it.I second Roots Organics. The dry nutes have a super fine texture so it breaks down fast in your soil and your plants will love the regular microbe boost. Add a touch of unsulfered organic Molasses and watch them really take off.![]()
Dr Bruce Bugbee agrees that its a great idea. Anything that guy recommends is definitely worth looking intoYou're the 2nd person to recommend that. I'm gonna do it.
