I have a custom Dodge charger with the 5.7l hemi.

Have custom exhaust headers back, performance intake with oversized throttle body. It professionally tuned to 91 octane.

Now here's the deal I've come into some loot 4000$ to be exact. I've been working on visual mods and approached a well known rim company to make me my designed custom rims. For almost 6000$bill.

Now I haven't started the actual work yet or signed a work contract for the rims yet.

What I'm wanting to know is how much more hp could I get from that 4000$? Rims are beautiful but a 9 sec quarter mile in my eyes is more beautiful.

Some one have any suggestions on say parts and gains they can suggest?

I've looked at a procharger set up would be possible to get hell cat numbers or more but cost in upwards of 10k. Not feasible for me right now. So what would you do with the 4k rims or hp?

Surprised people still tune modern cars lol... My uncle was a huge gearhead back in the day. The guy put a 454 with a 4bbl in an AMC Gremlin once. Farkin thing could pop wheelies.

Guts before glamour all the way.

Tuning on a modern car means switching out or changing the software on the engine computer.

Then you adjust for performance on a laptop or service computer.

At least thats how it was a decade ago. We used to “soup” up trucks in the mountains at the dealership for customers.

If you do go supercharger put the intake away from any heat like the radiator. Cool air is a must.

When I say tuned. Yes just a flash of the ppcm to get all you can get out of the bolt ons.

Very minor gains say if it was stock and just reprogramming you might get if your lucky 20hp on 93 octane gas, better fuel mileage but still more expensive in the end.

I built this car as in all the performance work that's been done has been done by me.

The car shows a couple times a season and always wins throphys mostly best in show,

When I was a kid me and a buddy bought a old Ford ranger. Dropped a 9in rear end in it and and a sb 350. The frame lasted about 8 months. 350 just twisted it all up. When I was 21 I had a bug block 454 Ss pickup.

My charger being 25 years newer then my old 454 would eat the big block without breaking a sweat.

Man I miss that truck in its day it was eating every car that tried. Seemed so fast then stock with 290hp.

Custom body matched headlights.
I gutted the stock ones painted the inside and installed mini moto projectors, visual mods dechromed took all molding off body colour matched the dodge ram emblems and rt emblems, full adjustable coilovers, adjustable control arms and srt brake system. Custom body matched color taillights. I added the gold hash marks because of advise from my 8 year old son. Plan was instead of blacking out my car I was gonna white it out.

Even looked at getting white window tints.

I'm still looking for rear window louvers body color of course, a real functional shaker hood. And white push bars minimalist style ones. Gold rims custom rims. That's my vision anyways. Car has all black leather and suade interior I custom made my own t handle Hurst style shifter with my 3d printer and hours of hand sanding.

Was that the s10 tornado? Used to make/design car parts mostly suspension parts but had the pleasure to work on the prototype

Now days a bully dog can roast the tires off my F250 diesel in 4wheel drive, or push the ass end sideways in 2 wheel drive or boost fuel mileage by about 20% so far no problems. completely stock cept for the chip/box

You guys probably won't even believe me, but back in the day, I purchased a used Ford Escort for $300 dollars that would do 0-35 in 1 1/2 minutes flat. Positive vibes...

Zx2? Those cars come cheap and run pretty good for nothing.
