4k years ago would get you alot. I don't know much about the new Dodge (or any 2b honest). Most any car will respond to intake exhaust and IMHO gears. It won't top out as high, but will definitely get you out the hole way faster. With what you have, I'd get a intake, cam, stall depending on how much cam you run and gears. If you have enough left, get some nitrous. 4k will go SUPER QUICK!

I’d save the 4k for repairs. Anytime you add performance you need to bulletproof the drive train. If you don’t have a hellcat drivetrain then it won’t handle hellcat performance.

It's for reasons like that I stopped turning wrenches. I have worked for Honda, Porsche and most recently a European Performance shop working on everything from Volkswagens to Porsches going up the mountain for the PPIHC.

Got tired of people bringing in their Audi for performance upgrades the car wasn't designed for and usually broke after installing. Customers insist on stupid upgrades against your recommendations, etc.

Then to top it all off the automotive repair industry is in the toilet right next to the collision and refinishing industry thanks to Cash for Clunkers and other idiotic policies. Car manufacturers are no longer designing cars that last, they want you to just buy a new one when your old one breaks. I.E. BMW's I-Drive system, a collaboration of computers, where if one goes out the entire system has to be replaced at the tune of 13,000 dollars parts ALONE not including labor..

/end rant on why I no longer turn wrenches 🤠

The only wrenches I turn are on my own fleet of cars and bike. Because I hate spending money on something that I can do myself. This dodge is the last year of the dalmier Benz collaboration. The frame is Benz, these dodges were made for more power the engine was also Ibe seen blowers on them without an engine overhaul and they run good. The Tranny nag 5 is the best dodge ever made. The rear end is def the weak point hense why I'd change it out before a blower. The 375 gears ate supposed to handle power much better.

I wanted a s10 cyclone or tornado bad when I was younger good luck finding one now tho.

Currently I have 4 cars all on the road plus a bike I actually had out last weekend it was so warm now it's - 6with 3feet if snow.

Plus I'd love a Ford escort zx2 drop a 5.0 l in it or the ecoboost 3.5 twin turbo be a rocket

I had retread snow tires on my escort and I drove that 5 speed places a 4 wheel drive should be needed, bottomed out the tach a couple of times trying to roast the tires withat little 4 banger! The things you do at 16

I agree completely.
I have a custom Dodge charger with the 5.7l hemi.

Have custom exhaust headers back, performance intake with oversized throttle body. It professionally tuned to 91 octane.

Now here's the deal I've come into some loot 4000$ to be exact. I've been working on visual mods and approached a well known rim company to make me my designed custom rims. For almost 6000$bill.

Now I haven't started the actual work yet or signed a work contract for the rims yet.

What I'm wanting to know is how much more hp could I get from that 4000$? Rims are beautiful but a 9 sec quarter mile in my eyes is more beautiful.

Some one have any suggestions on say parts and gains they can suggest?

I've looked at a procharger set up would be possible to get hell cat numbers or more but cost in upwards of 10k. Not feasible for me right now. So what would you do with the 4k rims or hp?
Trying to significantly increase performance with 4k will get you nothing but headaches on that car. Those expensive custom rims, if they are much different from the stock dimensions will chew through tires and suspension components not to mention effect the ride, handling, and alignment too. I would save the money for repairs or towards upgrading to car that is closer to your desired performance level.

I think that turbine engine is made for rc planes, of which I also have a few. But none heavy enough to need 40lbs of thrust.

Not to many engines that are Na from that long ago can keep up with anything with an ECM and fuel injection.

Besides there really not comparable against each other as materials have changed along with the tech.

It is a beautiful car. Resto mod what engine in it?

The rims are the same dimensions 20invh by 9.5. I'm using a 245/45r20 on fro t at 9.5inch, and 275/35r20on back at 10imches so same rims but 2 different sized tire for a staggered set up.

I go thru 1 set of brand new tires every summer, as the car has been lowered. Plus these cars are naturally hard on front end parts. The suspension is lowered but only to the srt ride height. That's as low as it will be because my driveway is on an incline and any lower it scrapes. Also cant use an aggressive rear diffuser or a from dam splitter due to driveway.

I also have a 86 yamaha maxim 700. Completely rebuilt it last winter. Was the fastest production bike of it time. Beautiful bike but to small for my bavk to ride long rides. Maybe cut it up into a bobber might be in my plans for next winter.

Do I ended up getting rims not the expensive ones but man I like these new ones more everytime I see them.

There is really not to much I can do to make horsepower with out some internal upgrades, probably just save it for my next car hell cat maybe or bently contental GT's are cheap 2012 for 30grand with less than 100k on it. Twin turbo w12 work of art.

If you get a continental gt, set aside $10k a year for maintenance, and any 2012 model listed for $30k will need some expensive work done too. They are great cars, don't get me wrong, but most people are not prepared for the cost of ownership.
