I love having Praying Mantis in my garden. I have a few pictures of them from this season. I have a picture where one Praying Mantis is holding it's prey as it devours it. I also have had quite a few run-ins with copperheads this season. They seem to be fairly friendly for a poisonous snake. I have a picture of one at the base of one of my plants, ready to strike. I had just set down a water jug right next to it seconds before. I love nature! Positive vibes...

They really are beautiful. I had not seen them so much, until this year. I have grown in the same spots for years and this is the first time that they have been literally everywhere. I just try to get a half decent picture when my camera is handy. I was with someone that killed one that I saw the same day as the one beside the water jug and it just didn't feel right. I guess I should have eaten it or something to get some use out of it, but we just discarded it. I have never put to much stock in fear and I am just more aware of my surroundings when I am around where I have seen them.

I remember reading something about that, now that you mention it. That is one hell of a story. How did it happen? I do not see too many rattlesnakes. I would hate to be shoulder deep in a plant and feel a bite. Ouch! Positive vibes...

Yeah I did another light dep this spring...But I wore Snake boots! :)
Lite dep is just a bit too much hassle.....unless you can automate it.

Schwoop pointed out that most of the the year, there is less than 12 hours light anyhow...
so I thinkin, all I really need is a Green house and lights.....turn off the the lights.... and they bloom :)

yes winter grows in the greenhouse are awesome, heaters that don't emit light was the only issue but wow some amazing quality. I am interested in seeing what you come up with in the offseason.

if you can pre veg your plants and get them out early enough you wont even have to cover them at all. theyll instantly go into bloom and will be far enough along that they wont revert back to veg. i know quite a few outdoor guys that do that. you can hang lights tho to help with the extra overcast days

No Doubt, that can be done(might depend on the strain)
Ive had my share of reveg though Cheese. I wouldnt try that in spring or summer. However,

That was the case with these PBBX ..sorta...they started flowering when I shut off the sup lites back in may.....then reveged.bit..so I didnt give them beds...but they also kept flowering:confused: i guess.
Because this bud is about to be cut and sampled very soon

I will be setting up hoops over the first bed I clear for the next round. ;) Fall/winter grow
Because all these extra Alien cuts wont all fit in the tent I hope to get:D
