I found a tiny worm today while I was spraying the Spinosad. I spotted the damage 1st. And then dug him out.
He was just a 1/4 inch long and didn't do a lot of damage. But Im sure there are more. :banghead:
I soaked all the buds...used almost a half bottle of concentrate;)
I didnt find anymore damage, yet...

Its going to be a full time job examining every flower every day..but I have to do it..
Sucks though because I have to look for damage...can't see the worm till it does damage (most of the time) :depressed:

Some plants are half way done while others are just starting to bloom
that interrupted light phase worked but it did some weird stuff to the plants i think

This Ewok F2 seedling started blooming in july and thankfully, it didnt revege.
starting to get frosty now :)
Ewok814

bout 9ft tall :D

Most of the potted plants are way ahead of the one in the beds

Hit the nail on the head Ken - when the root mass gets restricted, the plant gets stressed. The more stressed a plant is, the earlier it will finish.

I learned that here..from Seamaiden, I think..and from screwing up on my own over and over...lol :p

I think I screwed a lot my plants up with the supplemental lighting thing..
and now I dont know whats going to happen
I think I should have left the lights on for another month..

Hey Blaze..Were you doing an interruption? Or extending the length of day?o_O
I remember, I stopped using my lights about the same time you did..

This big one revegged (in late july) just long enough to get a ton of extra growth :(
I don't think that's good:mad:
But Im hopping it works out :bag:

Gorgeous forest Ken! Do you plan to take a vacation when you finish trimming? Should be done by Spring by my est :)

what's a volunteer plant?

Thanks FTW ..LOL..:p Yeah im gunna need one for sure!
Hopefully, I will be surfing in some tropical warm water reef break somewhere in December though;)

A volunteer plant is a plant that grows from a seed that wasn't planted by human hands
(the seed fell off the plant that grew there last year) :D

Hey FTW; Huge props on you GSC and Cherry pie grow! Great job with those!
And I heard how you got them!! Even huger props Brother! :woot:

Aha! Volunteer.... awesome name. Gracias.

and thanks for the compliments too bro. I saw a solution for many problems and I went for it. Hard work pays off, as you surely know. :)

Last two seasons I have been doing the interrupted light cycle. First season it worked with everything we tried it on, this year we had a few that pre-flowered a little bit about a month after planting. Still not really sure why, they did around the solctice when the days were longest which doesn't really make sense to me. Also the ones I had issues with were seeds I took cuts of last season, so that may have been part of it as well. If you have power in your garden (I don't) I would run lights all the way to the end of June just to make sure.

you are gonna want to thin that out a lot so that the budsites look like they would on a normal plant otherwise you will get lots of popcorn that doesn't develop right.

I hear ya. Thanks for the tip
I'm pretty bummed about that :( but I'm still hoping it will be ok
If that plant wasnt 8ft tall i might just cull it.:banghead:
That plant's legs are shaved up to 4 foot high (higher inside)..She is all tops..
But yeah, thanks again...I will study those and see what I can remove
