I just got this light, so not looking for recommendations, but I am looking for information.

For the past 5 years I've grown one crop a year in a 4x4 tent with an HLG-600r. Aside for poor edge coverage in the tent, because I couldn't keep enough space above the canopy, it's worked well. Until it died this year a couple of weeks into my crop. Needing a light 'right now!' I went to the only store in town I could find that had lights in stock. I ended up with a Grower's Choice ROI-FF, after trying the ROI-E720 and finding out it simply wouldn't fit inside the tent.

My crop is a week into flowering now and looking great. The new light goes right to the edge of the tent, so edge coverage is no longer an issue.

Because of how I ended up with this light, I don't know much about it, except that it's supposed to be good for flowering. Currently it seems awfully good in veg too!

Is this a decent light from a performance standpoint? It is clearly stronger than the HLG-600r, probably more like a 700w equivalent.

I think you got a good light, looking at the specs.
3 PPE is pretty good efficiency and you got enough wattage.
The 3000K is also ok.
I think you gonna be happy with that lamp if the quality holds.
Careful not to fry your plants. LEDs seems pretty strong when new.

Edit: Only thing is they don't mention diode brand. That usually means cheap diodes but if the specs hold then it shouldn't matter much.
