1/2 a cup maybe a lil bit more. Spread evenly across the surface of the medium from trunk to pot edge. How much per 3 gal pot?
Ah the push and pull of it all. Def can wick.Trouble with de is once it’s wet it’s unless. It dries up like concrete and is no longer razor like and you need to replace it every time you water
You could water from the bottom and avoid getting it wet
Oh it’s definitely “fool”Dang capt I said it was going to get crowded looks like you filled the whole room up
I usually top dress with a mixture of earthworm castings and dry amendments. Often notice an uptick in fungus gnats, and haven’t chanced with this past grow, instead I just scratched in the dry amendments into the soil and covered back up with the mulch I use. Now I’m almost convinced that they’re in the earthworm castings. Anyone else notice this? I’ve used three different brands over the years most recently coast of Maine which has compost in it, Wiggle worm, and stuff from Lowe’s or Home Depot. The box store stuff has a high percent of compost too, and I can’t remember if the wiggle worm did or not.Bastards! That’s what I bought the diatomaceous earth for.
