I hear that. One of my Lemon Cookies stretched so much after the flip I had no choice but to super crop the hell out of her.I have faith she'll be ok though. ;)

Right on man, looking good. Our tents are on the same day! Not too stinky yet?If I didn't have my phresh filter they'd stink up the neighborhood. They are some aromatic girls.

They stink, just not like last run. Only one of my plants stunk last run but it was bad. Kind of glad it's not too stinky this run bc it had the street smelling funky for sure.

figured this would a descent thread to pick someone peoples brains... (3) 1k gavita de pro's should cover a 8x8 area just fine yeah? and also a 6'ft deep and 8'ft wide area as well?

Ceiling height is 8 feet tall if thats necessary to know, lights will hang 6inch to a foot at most from ceilings. Plants tops will be kept at minimum 2.5 - to 3.5 foot tall... once tops start getting to close (with in 30 inches) i would def turn down to 600/750's.
I have no direct experience but make sure u have good air flow. I'd say yes on coverage but cutting it close on height.

Anybody here hook up thermostats to your fans? Any recommendations on keeping my temps steady?

No AC right now just fans, 2000 watt HPS with there own dedicated 6" inline

Y'all are CRAZY!!! 70 degrees is cold to me and I grew up in NY! I love the snow and snowboarding plus who doesn't like a white Christmas but fuck living someplace so cold! That's what vacation are for!! Give me 80 degree weather 365 and ill be a happy camper!!! Maybe down to 60 at night but that's the absolute coldest!!

I agree. I live in Mass, & I wish it was late September weather all the time. However, I'm not a fan of 70. 60 is good for me. My metabolism runs hot. & me personally, I would WAY prefer 20 below, to Florida in the summer.

If you grew up in NY, you must have gone swimming in the therapy pools at Bob's Furniture, the ones with the giant fish in them?

Am I really the only one? Where do you guys wash your dogs n stuff?

Or your clothes? Anyway...

@Ned Kelly i saw you with bare feet in a mud puddle drinking a fosters singing ac dc....lol. But the thc bomb is actually a real nice plant. When I first started I used to grow their stuff a lot. My first thread on here "introducing super coco" is their bubble bomb.

I never knew till the other day that the lead singer, Brian, damn it, Brian something, lives in Australia.

The band is Australian and Brian actually isn't. Didn't know he lived in Australia though.

Does that control the speed of the fan according to the temperature?
Precisely, according to adjustable temperature parameters.

Any specific one you use? I've heard there can be problems with some of the speed controllers. Humming and extra wear on the motor?
I'll have to take a look at the brand I can't remember which it is. With some fans the motor definitely hums, but there are other fans you can buy that are designed to handle the variable electricity. They're a bit more expensive, of course.

That ductstat posted above seems interesting, maybe worth looking into.

i have the best luck with vortex fans and speed controllers.for some reason the vortex never really gets louder or hums no matter what speed you run em at.
i also run these titan controls on my light runs, you set your fan idle speed and when the temp gets close to your set point it will ramp up the fan as needed.then at lights out it has options to keep running or shut off completely.kinda nice to have.but i use the duct stat to control incoming air to cool the rooms.
