All I can say is my boy that uses them as well as cap and just about everyone else I've seen with them say farther away works best. Doesn't mean what is suggested won't work but most people run them quite a bit higher than usual. I can say this my smalles clones to a couple big plants are in that tent right now and the light is literally hanging off the center support bar. So it's a full 4 maybe 5 feet away and it's perfect. So again I'm always going to go with grower especially good grower advice over company suggestions. But end of the day you have to find out what works for you ya know. Start one way see what they do then try another way ya know.

I'd like to say this as well bro. If I could I'd stuff ten of them in there. I would use as many as I can afford. I'm going to buy one or two at a time until I can't buy any more. I'd really like to replace my two k room with six of those. Maybe even 4 with two LEDs I personally think that combo is close to untouchable for a lot of reasons. Can't take anything away from gavita I just really like what I've seen and smoked from 315 led mix.

I'd love to see results in a 4x4 for sure.

Great to see more people using the 315w lights.Been running one for about 6 months now. Been wanting to put a second one in my 4x4 flower tent. Two of these with the remote ballast in my 4x4 is tempting.

A bit excited for what's to come as I took a lower bud cut from the chocolope x fruity thai a few days ago and just let it sit on my tray until it was smokeable. I popped in less than a 1/4 gram into my glass pipe and was pleasantly surprised. First off it passed the ash test so I know I got a good flush.Taste isn't so great but that comes with a cure.The high however was excellent.It started in the eyes and then had the soaring feeling followed by a body/head combo that was almost giddy.Lasted well over an hour and it was pretty intense.Once I get a good dry/cure on this strain it is going to knock some peoples socks off.I knew the lemon cookies is gonna kill but I am pleasantly surprised by the other.(Chocolai) Woot! Thanks Drewskie and happy b,it is so appreciated guys. ;)

Picked the best out of the three lgxsd I've got and took a lower branch. Apparently it takes about 4 weeks for clones in flower to root and revert? This might ware my nerves out.

Popped it in a root riot plug soaked in azos and stuck it in a humidity zone. Seems like day temps around 76 and night around 72. Should it be warmer?

I've found it takes usually the time it's been in flower to revert back and then needs to reveg. I'd say if taken between week 5-6 better plan on not being able to get a decent cut for at least a month, sometimes more depending on health of plant taken from.

Those temps should be fine. If anything you could go a little cooler. Is the root zone 76 or are you measuring the air? I've found if I stay around 71-74 and dome closed first 3 days and then half open I can get roots in 10 days on some strains. Usually no longer then 2 weeks.

guess I should put up an ash test since I'm running all the scary nutrients. Here's ash from bullrider given the modified formula shown before (so had Urea and Miracle Grow)

....And no I don't clean the bowl part of my piece out ever :p., so feel free to hate all you want on that haha. Darn bowls anymore are shaped like cones...hate it.

I haven't cleaned mine since last time I smoked resin. So uhm like 4 years ago hahaha! That shit is thick! Could prob make a resin ball the size of my head if I cleaned it :cry:
