Y'all were talking about air pots.
I keep forgetting to bring up a little change with those. The Mfg. instructs to put the bottom plate 3 holes up from the bottom. Instead I always run mine 2 holes up (1 ltr & 3 ltr). This gives a small bit more soil space per pot size.

@Pimp T Your pics always are rockin' man! I don't often stop to say that, but feel it is due.

Suppose I can throw up some more puzzle pieces with the "formula".
The paper is dealing with "use efficiency" as are many papers with urea (since it tends to volatilize after hydrolysis with surface application in agriculture.) Urea hydrolyzes into ammonia "gas" not a solution; so Ag. crops focus on loss here.
Mainly, though it does point out / verify that there are urea transporters; along with ammonium and nitrate.

"All plants are able to take up either nitrate, ammonium or urea as a nitrogen source, and possess dedicated transmembrane transport systems in root cells for each form of nitrogen"
"Recently, AtDUR3 was demonstrated to serve as a major high affinity transporter for urea uptake by N-deficient roots of Arabidopsis, suggesting that urea transport activity of AtDUR3 is of physiological significance in higher plants."
"Ammonium uptake is mediated by transport systems that have been isolated and partially characterized in several plant species,..... (AtAMT1.1, AtAMT1.2, AtAMT1.3, and AtAMT2;........"
"Two gene families, namely NRT1 and NRT2, have been identified in nitrate acquisition by plants"
"..."AtNRT1.1 and AtNRT1.2 were characterized as low-affinity nitrate transporters with constitutive expression and were considered to belong to the NO3– LATS (Low Affinity Transport System), while the NRT2.1 gene was shown to encode a major component of the NO3– HATS (High Affinity Transport System). Recently, it has been shown that NRT1.1 is involved in the signalling pathway responsible for the stimulation of lateral root growth and that it facilitates the uptake of auxin"

"Experiments conducted in controlled conditions have shown that urea nutrition can also cause negative effects on wheat development, but less intensely than those associated with NH4+ nutrition. However, several authors have demonstrated that the negative effects associated with ammonium and urea nutrition are corrected by the supply of nitrate in the nutrient solution . **Physiological and molecular processes underlying this beneficial effect are only partially understood"
.
From above.
Note there are transporters for all types of N and also that these are separate.
Note that the LATS Nitrate NRT1 is directly linked to uptake of auxin.
Note that toxicity from ammonium or urea are corrected via nitrate (this relates to feedback interaction of transporters and gene expression).
Last, note they make a point to say "only partially understood" (combo N form effects).

taking clones in flower increases pistil production.

this is the original run. notice less pistils than top picture?View attachment 559295

I probably only got about 2 weeks worth of veg maybe 3. just had shitty spectrum fluros now I got the right ones they slowed down on their stretching. Remer these are just for fun while I'm getting shit ready. got my first portion of the insurance policy today, a nice 10 grand $$$! still waiting on another 40...

im assuming this was re-vegged...or taken while it was in flower?? The growth is so odd with all that height and bare stem, yield vs size just doesn't look like its worth it..I am in no way whatsoever knocking you or your skills, just addressing what im sure you already know or already have seen.....if this was a cut that was taaken while in flower, how long was the orignal plant in flower for before you took the cut!!

Congrats on all the $$$!!! Im so sorry for they way you got it thou....

Im confused as to where you came across something telling you to put the bottom 3 notchs up?? I ask bc my instructions that came with my airpots/an airpots youtube vid/and a rep for airpots on IG all said to put the bottom on the 2nd notch....Maybe you were reading something old or something some rando wrote/suggested

If your only option is a tent, you would have to have some extremely short plants. Put it this way, I could be running one of those lights in my tent (same height issues as you) but I chose not to. I have run out of height before, & it's heartbreaking to part with one of your plants at that point in their life.

xd. No clue man. My manual said 3 holes up. The Mfg. video also says 3 up and noted the 3 bottom holes are larger than the rest (Forgot that bit).
I didn't know if that was something everyone already did or what, but wanted to mention if people were using 3 up is all.

What are the big differences between digital and mag I know one you can adjust the strength of the light I believe? Other than that I'm not to sure. And it's funny how it says 400 watt on it and the person was still confused about the light and how much it was for some reason....

one you can fix repetitively and when the coil shorts out or something you cannot fix, you have a pile of copper to recycle

the other you cant really fix much on and when it fails it goes to a landfill, also you can get busted by the fuckin cable guy because of line interference.

Idk if it does or not tbh I bought it off someone they didn't give me much details. They didn't know shit about it I'm the one that told them it was 400 watt lmao. So I'm not sure if it's compatible with both bulbs bro. It's a htgsupply light @Lazerus00 cause if I can put a mh bulb I will.

I'll say this not to be disagreeable but there is nothing wrong with vegging under hps. Seriously there isn't some major difference man. I've literally used everything and find plain mh to be very over rated veg wise. I wouldn't waste the money. In saying that if you do def go buy a lowes or Home Depot joint. Cheap as hell and work really well. But equal wattage hps or mh isn't going to be immensely different. Keep your hps a little closer if you can but it will veg really well for ya.
