Purple Jones , its Casey Jones x Purple Urkel and I am unsure of its breeding origins as I got a cut of it from Homebrew420 4 years ago and have been running it as a long time perpetual regular entrée in my gardens cause its just so damn good dense danky fire bud, potent as hell, large yields, and a beautiful Purpz hybrid to watch through the flower cycle. Stay warm, you got another NorEaster storm headed your way with another snow storm adding to it from the west that hits here tomorrow and moves it way to you by the weekend to join the Cyclone already going on there.......so bundle up and get ready for the big one bro....stock up on grocery stuffs and other needs if possible...biggest storm in known Mass and Boston history hitting soon if not already...suck to be at sea in the North Atlantic for this one surely as well..Love ur purple Jones. Who made that cross? Whoever did must he extremely pleased with urs. Seriously beautiful plant brother. Keep the pics rolling in brother. Curious on the Adam Dunn underdog. Cant get a pic or find a pic online that looks like em?Ok fellas. Need an opinion. Used to soil mites patrolling my soil and I love them. I usually have fast movers that rip fungus gnat larva to shreds literally. But I have two batches of super soil cooking. One a veg soil and one a bloom soil. Within both I have found very small populations of slow moving fat white mites. Not sure if they r good or bad but I'd love some opinions. I've added some met 52 just in case. To anyone who thinks that product doesn't work I swear u are using it wrong. But anyway also added some extra grokashi and a few splashes of caps foliar pack. Any opinions?
Not really. Lol. Have no camera that will give me anything. My loupe won't give me a clear pic either. Under 100x magnification I can clearly see 8 legs. Mouth parts and they are eating organic material. I can also see ones that have been eating with food in their stomachs or whatever. They are very slow and don't exactly dislike being observed. I've always had fast movers and I wish they would come en mass and smash these fat bastards. Thinking about introducing some hypoapsis miles but not sure if I have to. Also I believe the emergence of these is telling me something is off. So I added another couple gallons of growstones for more aeration. I'll try and find some similar pics.Cant get a pic or find a pic online that looks like em?
These look exactly like them. Although this pic isn't from My soil. I did throw a pc of a stem in there and this is what happened. Although not nearly as many.Cant get a pic or find a pic online that looks like em?
Do those things have twin tailpipes? For the record the dude who took this pic said they caused him no harm so I'm less concerned.
Not aphids bro. Not a chance. I've battled them. Worst things ever.lol. These are mites for sure. Just not used to seeing this particular kind. The above pic is kind of misleading. I'm sure the dude who took it did what I did. I placed a stem in my soil that's cooking and like four of those ended up on it. Only so I could get a better look at them. I'm sure they would remain in the soil if they were in a plant container. We will see though.Do those things have twin tailpipes?
Could they be an aphid of some sort?
Best of luck.
Peace
Agree 100%Thanks cap. Once again holding our gardens down! Respect!
Fungus gnats suck but there are organic products that will wipe them out. As for the jumpers those are springtails. Dec a sign that ur soil is good. No stress there happy! I welcome soil notes and springtails with open arms. Its these non familiar fat cows that r making me uncomfortable. Lol.Iv got these little bugs in my soil . if I pour a lot of water onto the top of the soil I can see them "jumping" around on surface of the water before it absorbed into the soil . they don't seem to do any harm as iv had em for ages . someone told me they were beneficial but I don't like the thought of insects in my soil but I just can't get rid of em . I also have fungus gnats and theyr larvae in the soil . I hate those little buggers . They get EVERYWERE!
