Footprint is 2' between centers with the two Bdridgelux 2700K 25W in the middle to fill in the overlap of outer COBs. Should have done 4" smaller footprint but who knows, once in a new apartment might get me a larget tent :D and hang some extra weight to the frame.

Get the sun system bro. That's what the 14er holistic boyz use. Hombrew420 and his crew. I'm debating on buying 1 this weekend . I may wait till I can afford 2 if them though. Not sure how soon u plan on making the move but it may be something we can do together and save a few bucks. That is if our time lines match up. Let me know brother. That's def the system I'm going to go with. Going to run 2 of those and retire the 1k. Expecting to smash. Larger footprint less wattage and better results. Either way good luck to u bro. I'm wondering myself what I'm gonna get wit this setup. The old setup had about 125W actual light with approx 150W power consumption and gave me 105g dried in last run which was three autoflewers and four photo plants, one of which was really small. Autos yielded 35g and the rest 70g. Lights were on 15/9 before flip. If I went with 20/4 cycle autos would for sure yield much more and photos would veg faster so the yield could be much higher. Refining training technique would also help so I assume I could eventually hit 1g per actuall watt of power consumption. Still had space for one "big" plant inthere ( about 1/3 space) so it's totally feasible.

But I'll work on the numbers with the new rig :D and try hitting 1 for 1 with it. The closet yielded enough for personal use so I'll try work more on the quality than quantity.

I love to grow untrained plants to see the structure and behavior just for their beauty.

I'll put the numbers together for a 150W/200W unit shipped and chime in.


Nough of babbling, need to smoke some more :)

Toast I really like this. What size tent is this. In your opinion how do u feel this light will do when it's all said and done against something like say a 400 watt 3 watt diode led?

That's cool as fuck @Toaster79 I miss when I had an out for the big haul and the micro setup to sog/screw arounf. Sucks that I moved to larger indoor setups. Just not nearly as feasible to run sogs in larger rooms without a shitload of work. The trade off just ain't there. You look like you'll kill it. Respect.

@Tnelz glad to see you picked out a system.... Finally lol... Now get it ordered and show us how bad ass you can make em out out!

The tent is 1x1x2m so roughly double the size my closet was.

I have no Idea what's to be expected from this setup. So far I have grown only with lights I built myself so have no experience whatsoever with other lights that's why I can't give you any input on how it will perform comparing to other type of lights.

What I'm after is results comparable to 315W CMH.

Should have done a dry run before putting my plants inthere. Temps got up to 95°F and plants looked exhausted. Gave them foliar with cold water and opened up the tent so they perked right up and temps droped down to 86°F. Already have some 1.5L bottles of water in the freezer so will put them infron of intake to cool down the incoming air and drop the temps a bit. Also have a cold mist humidifier ordered since rh dropped to 35%. It's back up to 60% now as the tent is opened but need to get those parameters in check before I flip since the tent will have to stay closed.

The weather is brutal these days and am hoping for some cooler days.

Raining in SoCal!!!! Almost forgot what rain was, now let's hope it puts some fires out while not starting any new ones. We are getting dry lightning back home in the mountains, so I hope it starts raining there soon too.

Yeah it does heavy , and the amount of Resin is crazy . The flower are like loose and it swells everyday more and more it makes me hope it turns out lij the monstrous Alice plant off you tube . It's a mystery ☺can't wait to make some shatter wit that beast keep it green PpP peace
