671 post since my last on Aug,4 th you guys are blowing this thread up ....

The machines are nice when there new but give those cloners a year and they get clogged up and need cleaning every 4 days. The jets stop working at max pressure and cloning % goes down with it. Especially when u start strategically placing them in the good spots. After these few are done I'm going back to plugs myself .

Glue s1 cause that's all I still got ;)

Hey bro. U probably hate me at this point. Lol. Glad u stopped by. I'm sure u know what's going on over here. My new space is looking great but all my cuts well most of them are gone. So untill I get them back..... Anyway since I have you here if u want to finish this in a pm its all good but I'm popping seeds like crazy. If u have some stuff u would like to see popped let me know I'd be glad to push the sose line. Let me know bro.

So on the topic of nutrients, I've been wanting to ask you guys some things.

I'm literally almost out of part B of the Canna Coco A/B. Pretty low on A but maybe another three weeks worth of daily feedings of part B. Tomorrow marks day 14 since flip. I'm debating seeing if someone would be willing to sell or trade me around 8oz worth of part B or going to a hydro shop or home depot and trying to find something comparable to part B. May even look into a one part and get a bloom booster as well.

What are your guys thoughts? I don't have a bank acct. or CC at the moment, so ordering anything online is out of question for now. Would you guys just switch over the nute regimen to a simple one part as soon as part B is gone or would you seek out enough to get through the last of the run? Not looking to drop another $30 on a bottle I only need roughly 235ml out of as I intend on changing up my regimen anyways after this run. Probably gonna go to Jack's instead. Kinda fed up with Canna, though it may be my usage. Even feeding at 5ml/US Gal (1.4-1.5 EC) every feed I'm still winding up with the runoff creeping up to ~2.0+ EC every couple weeks. Also water to between 20%-30% runoff. Something just doesn't sit right anymore for me with that line.

Hell, I was even debating following @MGRox steps and grabbing some MG salts, but I rather not go off that deep end and ruin this harvest. Kinda relying on it to upgrade the set up and whatnot.

I know walhell has some liquid nutes but I'm not real sure on quality of them. Finding an NPK that is similar seems like it would be a PITA too. Sorry for the rant here, thinking out loud. Guess ill post this damn reply and see what you guys think lol

@seafour or anyone just figuring s4 would no but I got a question .

If you pollinate a f2 with the original dad do you have more f2s or something different like a Ix or ? I'm thinking there just more f2s

Ill send the Addy and its def not an ix I think it would be a bx or more f2s. For the record I'll have most everything back before to long. U r first on the list.

U can just switch. It's all synthetic npk the plant dosent care. I switched half way through bloom more than once and it came out fine. Don't even sweat it.

Both of my Purple Trainwrecks are doing it only on the new growth. I was thinking Ca might be locked out due to excess of Mg (Epsom) being top dressed. They're in organic mix of recycled soil amended with EWC, compost and old trimmings. They be getting areated green compost teas with molasses, mycorrhiza and seaweed powder. Also gave them a light feed of biobizz grow a few days back, but noticed that yellowing starting before the feed and its slowly progressing.

Thank in advance for any input on this

Not calcium. That's a fact. Almost presents as mag but it's neither of those. My next one off the check list is usually pH in the root zone.

@SeaF0ur those are some nice "all bud" shots!! Know a guy who always talks about how great stuff was "back then"; I just may get a kick outta showing him those pics! Also, F2 Bx1...I would'da guessed right, yay!

@tobh If you're gonna run out, have a hydro store near and want to finish 1 part; possibly try flora bloom or maxi bloom @ lucas ratio. Least it's an easy and fairly cheap way to finish and a local hydro would have for sure. The P is a bit high, so keep up on the myco additives if you use them; otherwise should be fine. Something like that could get you through until you can order your intended future lineup.

As for using MG, I would not recommend just jumping into it. The MG stuff is sorta like a can of worms. If you can keep em all inside then all is good, but if a few get out; you can have issues. There is a very, very specific way that I'm using the MG stuff atm to ensure the "can stays closed". I want to keep testing a bit with a few strains and such, but if all proves well; I will probably cover all of "how" and "why" I'm using it. At that point, it will be nice to see if the effects prove desirable to a larger group of people / strains.

Don't like to sound like a broken record but if you transplant those into a medium with a lot more chunky perlite (better aeration and drainage) you may get over the problem quicker. Because right now it's just a collection ground for whatever was put in it to date. Whatever is in there now is just steeping with no way to escape or re-baseline. Hth

This cannot be over emphasized enough, keep superhealthy moms with super fast growing shoots under good intense light so you are taking the cut at young fresh green growth instead of weeks old woody branches. Top everywhere so you get new fresh green side shoots. :)

Any of my farm fam, offer extends to you as well if you're a blunt smoker. I can send boxes of swishers to you, np... Try not to tell everyone though, I'm not a seller of blunts lol. @Lazerus00

Works great for some, i always had shitty success, plus my cuts are too big to fit in them... If you still want one, you can DIY for much much cheaper, and higher grade parts.

I hate cloners, RW all the way, she's my bottom bitch lol.


I dont use em really, but a tip for all youse that use Rapid rooters/similar style plugs. flip em upside down. lets you lay the plugs flat, and the inverted bottom seems to grip the cuts better.

@Toaster79 I agree with @Tnelz most likely a pH problem.. Seen it so many times, from homies who couldnt get there alkalinity in check ( water here goes from 350-650 ppm) and had crazy swings from putting too much pH additives.

Shit cloning is the easiest thing I've ever done, I've had cuts that i kept in water cups from forgetting to RW em, neglected, and rooted only a day or two later than my RW ones. I don't think I've lost a cut unless I tried or straight neglected them for weeks. But I can see the hassle, my buddy in every facet is a genius when it comes to growing, but for the longest time, rooting healthy solid, big cuts frustrated him to no end, he just got the tech down this year, after just a bit of tweaking. Its usually just something small, preventing you from cloning successfully @ a rate of 90% and above and lots of people just cant seem to figure out why it cant work for em

for rapid rooters, I tear off one corner and stuff the hole so its packed tight around the stem...
old habit from cloning straight into soil... making sure the stem is packed tight...

I've recently fallen in love with Rockwool bot as a seed start and for cuts. Love the stuff.
