Its so good to see so many new faces popping in the hottest thread on the net!...lol na but for reals its always good to see new faces with new experiences, questions and knowledge!! Alright guys, so something came up, its possible a homie is gonna lend me some equipment so i can start a fresh setup down in the gee-rage. Im gonna get my hands on a 4x4 flood table, and a 1k digi ballast and hood. I want to do a hydro setup but the problem is im not 100% on how it works... My biggest ? Is how feeding nutrients from the resavoir works. A few other things amongst that....Would anyone here be willing to let me pick their brain and help me set this thing up? My budget is around 500$ for extras. I have a res. And enough panda film to build another enclosement.... Think i can make this happen?

My budget was next to nothin. Got a 250 w hps for 100 bucks, spent ten on an air pump, free 5 gallon bucket, net pot, lava rock, and nutrients (luckily vendor day came through at the local worms way). Bought my pack of ph up and down kit. Dwc is cheap, quick and more efficient than soil, IMO in my very short time (just started in april). Soil sucks for me, the old "what's good for one may not be for another" applies here.

Use the back of ur hand. I'd put it within a foot bro. A 250 isn't a ton of heat. I'd put it at 18 inches. Watch ur girls. If they don't like it they will show u they don't. After 24 I'd lower it to 15 and watch again. Or put ur hand under the light until it's to warm then raise it up until it's comfortable. But u should have no problem at15 inches so long as u have good air flow.

I'm a ebb n flo guy. Not so much with flood tables, but will help you any way I can.

I just raised her about 12 inches off the floor, I need to remember that she is coming out of an accidental reveg. No signs of heat stress, but has them reveg single leaf or extra large sugar leaves compared to what little bud she has. So many light problems until just last week.
I had her downstairs and people kept fucking up the lighting schedule by tripping over the extension cord I had ran to her. I think she might monster up so long as I don't have anything else go wrong. Been way too long, but it is my first grow in over 10 years.
My vegging baby is starting to be light deprived (my avatar), so I just built a new veg light.
I got her that big with a 2700 k cfl (90w equiv) and an 18" natural daylight fluoro. So like 55 real watts got her that big and she has kinda slowed.

patience and lots of love will be what you need to master growing. Dont get discouraged and never give up. Peace
