That story is truly messed up. No one can say with absolute certainty whether he did the second crime or not...but based on the evidence I saw, that entire thing was a sham.
How can someone like that not get a new trial? & they way the prosecution lied...just flat out LIED, through the whole thing...it's just incredible. How is it possible, that all those jurors, were convinced beyond a reasonable doubt? How?
The guy who elicited the confession from the kid was also working for the defense team...that should do it right there. Just that alone.
Sometimes I think being judged by a jury of your peers is a bad thing. If that same trial had been held somewhere else, I think they would both be free.
& all this after they !@#$ed him out of 18 years already!!!! GRRRRRRR!!!!
