@Joe Fresh : was thinking the same tthat short bushy one is a Hashberry leaner where the other two are DeezyD leaners. But I see slight difference between those two. Might just be a male and a female. Let's see. Like you said, once flowered out we'll know exactly what I have :D

Looks like the tallest of the Dirty Harrys is a boy :)

A few more days to be sure, but I won't be culling any of them before flip. Still need to decide if I'll be building an insulation chamber in case I find a special male.

I just swapped 4 of my 1000 HPS for 6, 315 LECs I think they are called.. ceramic cases.. pretty cool, and they run cooler and only take 1.5 amps at 220 each instead of the 4.5 per the 1000s do...

I'm curious about the results you'll get. You should be able to hang your lights lower and get a bit better coverage. Let us know how you feel about your new rig :)

The costs were around 550€ (£390) in materials and about 10 hours of labor. Research and sourcing materials took me much longer. The 50W part with Bridgelux 2700K COBs and driver was salvaged from previous setup, so was the power supply for fans.

Was it hard?

Soooo, girls got transplanted today and here's some litlle root porn

Mixed used soil from previous run wit the compost I made of vegetable and fruit rests mixed with some fresh soil and EWC. What I did forget is to add crushed egg shells. Will have to topdress those later. Also all the foliage and trimmings from previous run got mixed in.

The tent got sonic cold mist humidifier with 5L tank that should last 17h, since the rh with exhaust fan running drops down to 30% and now it's staying at 60% which I think is pretty optimal with 26°C. Girls look a bit beat up since they got decent watering with aminos and light compost tea in the morning and were just transplanted.

Back left Sensi#1, back right 707 Headband, middle and front fight Purple Trainwrecks, on the box back Dirty Harrys both males, front right also Dirty Harry the short bushy pheno (Hashberry), front left Sensi#2 and on the throne in the middle little Dirty Harry. Hoping for at least one more girl. Wish I popped at least five more beans.

More in another week or so unless those unsexed plants show sex.

This is the third run with this soil. Always amended it with EWC, some fresh soil and leftover plant material. This time did some compost myself so will have to wait for the results and see if I fucked up.

To update the grow:

All the plants are suffering from nitrogen toxicity due to starting in too rich of a soil containing slow release nutrients (animal shit). Those transplanted in the bigger pots should get on the right track soon and those in the small pots need to be transplanted ASAP.

Stem rub on that Dirty Harry female is out of this space. Heavy berry smell, really fruity with a hit of I don't know what that is but it is loud as fook. Maybe a little like petrol an poo funk. It really burns your nostrils and puts tears in your eyes. The males are not so loud but with much pleasanter smell mostly berry.

All the other girls smell great too with 707 and Sensi #1 being the louder ones but no where near those Harrys.

They all got a brew of compost tea, molasses and mycorrhiza today so those girls in the big pots should be good for almost a week where the small potter will need a drink tomorrow. Also top dressed some Epsom to be watered in with future waterings. And did some limb breaking to get those lower branches stuck under the heavy foliage some light.

More in a week.

How's everybody enjoying their sunday?

I'm at the outdoor spot visiting my girl and she looks amazing. Did a bit cleaning up and supercroping. She also got a nice shit of veg nutes, EWC and Epsom before she starts flowering. Actually she needed some food as sime of the leaves started fading and she looks quier a but light green. Dort of a lime colour and I know she was much darker when indoors.

Here she is after some broken limbs and clean up.

Also took some cloning material:

Once rooted they'll go into flower except for one that I'll be keeping for the next season.

I'll do the update on the indoor grow once I'm back at home.

Here's the tent. Plants got the standard brew again and every time they get it they grow at least an inch over night. Tent is filling in nicely, so will flip sometimes soon :D

Since I didn't share a proper update in the last week with you guys I might just do it now.

Sensi #1 :

Nice thick structure with good lower branching. Good abuse resistance and strong grower. Almost no smell so far. Maybe light herbal scent with a hint of wood.

Sensi #2:

Little more opened structure than #1 with less and weaker branching. Also almost no scent but the little she's giving off is pretty hashy.

707 Headband:

Tall skinny girl with open structure and some nice but lanky branching. I can't determin the smell but it's nice althoug not strong.

Purple Trainwreck #1 :

Not too short but bushy pheno. Cleaned her up a bit at the bottom inside to give her some air to breathe since that inner growth kept showing signs of overwatering.

Purple Trainwreck #2:

A bit taller and more opened structure than her sister. They are both giving off some ligh scent barely noticeable and hard to determine.

Dirty Harry #3:

This one turned out to be a male after all. This plant is a monster and a keeper. The stud is really so loud it burns your nostrils and makes your eyes wet. Almost giving me a headache. Will be building an insulation chamber just for him and chuck some pollen.

Here are the other two DH:

I really like the taller one of the two but since I'll have an insulation chamber big enough for one plant only I decided for #3. And I also don't want anny of the pollen to be mixed. I'll try to keep these two alive outside the tent and not flowering, which will be hard but I don't have much of a choice. Well I could kill all of the males then I do have 34 more seeds but if there's only a slight possibility not getting another one like one of those again is just the risk I'm not willing to take.

So to draw a line, lights work fucking amazing and plants grow tremendously. Will really have to flip in a week no later than two, otherwise those tall ones might want to go through the roof.

Plants haven't been fed any sorts of nutes whatsoever. All they have been getting is the brew I make for them once a week. I'd say I got that soil mix almost on spot, but will have to wait and see what happens once they start flowering.
