I like the pest controllers. Do you find them effective?

Pest controllers are good although you should try one of the larger Pinguiculas and Drosera capensis or another easy sundew for effective control of the pests in your grow. Saracenia (pitcher plants) are more geared towards larger flies. Other problem is carnivorous plants prefer humidity over 60-70% you may find sundews just loose the dew drops over leaves and dry up in well ventilated grow room?

Thanks for advice but those plants never survived due to too low humidity.

Day 21:

RP#1:

This little bitch started stretching and flowering already. She's gonna be a dwarf. Not quiet my taste and waste of time and money if you ask me. I'd probably get more from photos grown 12/12 from seed. The only good side is that that flowers will actually be red almost black.

RP#2

Slow growth but at least this one isn't flowering yet

C+ 2.0:

This one is actually progressing nicely. Looks on par with other photos, no signs of preflowering yet:

Well the other girls had a haircut today. Here's a before and after shot:

I'll slowly start tieing them down and remowing those fans as the new growth progresses.

Light cycle is 15/9 so this might be causing those autos to flower this early, well atleast the one actually flowering.

Keep it green everyone!

Day 27:

RP#1:

Started shaping her a bit as she's stretching to keep her canopy a bit lower. Don't want her to go too far in the air because I need to keep lights close to the veging photos. So LST and supercropping it is.

RP#2:

This one has been complaining since the very beginning so flushed her yesterday. I'm giving her one more week then is she out if she doesn't pick up.

20150301 185142

C+ 2.0 :

My favorite of autos. She showed preflowers a few days ago. Also had a bit of stretch. Tied down and spreaded to get those lower shots as much light as possible. She seems to like some bondage and rough games. Dirty little bitch ;) LST ansd supercropping here too.

This was the fun part. Now to the serious part, the photos. They have been toped once and are tied down. They are lookinh really good so far. Mainlining them for 8 mains this time. From the technique, described in the original thread about mainlinig, this i what I'm doing different: im cuting all the shoots but no fans. The shoots grown after first cuting will be left partially, as I'll be cuting only the weaker ones and pulling the stronger ones toward middle trying to establish an even canopy. So basically 8 mains creating outer circle and 8 secondaries filling the inside. By the time the autos are finishe those canopies will be established and ready for flip.

20150301 185052

Last feeding was yesterday giving them green compost tea and half a dose of biobozz grow and 1/4 heaven (aminos), also 1/2 tsp Epsom in 2l. Same mix 1/2 diluted given to autos (except for the flushed runt).

Temps have been in good range at 21*C at pot level and 26* at canopy. Nights were a bit cold at 17-18*

Well I have nothing but good experience with Dinafem. They seem to do their job really good. From Barney's I have only Laughing Buddha and Morning Glory but they're still packed in fridge and they're photos. Dinafem autos seem to be the go here especially with their new XXL and 2.0 line.

Here's a little update on my reveged clone serving me as a mother. I'll be taking clones of her next week since two friend of mine asked me for some cuts. She's been sitting under a 18W cfl in the kitchen. Started to give her some sun light to promote growth so i have some material to work with. She's been fed nothing but compost tea since I took her out of flower.

Hey fellow farmers! What's up? It's day 41 in my closet and things are progressing really nice. Raised the lights today for 2" (actually dropped the plants) since they started touching the ceiling. So here we go. A short description of what is going on in there.

RP #1:

She took off as the fastest grower in the begining but stopped stretching pretty early so she's the smallest of the three autos. She looks nice, she smells nice although shes changing scents like a girl changes her panties. Sometimes it's pure lemmon sometimes pure grapefruit on the stem rub. Rub the leaves and you get fruity but really sweet bublegum, like blueberry or something, just cant put my finger on it. She's frosting up and filling nicely. Looks like she's gonna pack some weight.

RP #2:

This little bitch is just not cooperating. Aftef the pH issue and flush she got compost tea and I topdressed some EWC. She didn't show any change at fist the she took of like a champ. Those leaves are stil clawing, even new growth is doing the same but she got double stretch and is twice the size of #1. I've been actually trying to kill tgis plant intentionally after seeing there isn't gonna be much of her. I need place for clones but this bitch just won't give up. She's laughing at my face. I even broke her stem in half hoping she would die but she szarted growing even stronger. What the F?

20150315 180131

20150315 180204

And here comes the beauty C+ 2.0:

This plant is just beatiful. Not much else I can tell about her. Let the pisture speak for them selves. I snipped thos little buds down below so they wont steal energy from the rest but that's pretty much it. One branch has been pulled towards the middle. Feeding nothing but green compost tea. When she stops stretching, which will be in next week I'm guessing I'll start feeding her some bloom nutes.

20150315 180558

20150315 180624

And the rest of the grow. These plants need daily attention when it comes to training. Its a PITA to work with them with such shourt internodal spacing. They are steong and stubborn and starting to reek. Been tucking those fans away, bending branches on daily basis and cut some unwanted branches. Little indi dom bushes they are:

No no Barney's yet. This is my first auto run ever. Been thinking about putting some outside myself. Anything else wont survive the weather where I live so need to chop end of august early september and the autos would be the only way to go. But for outside I'd go XXL or if there's any big strains from othes seed banks I'd try them too. Will have to research some more. I've seen some really nice big autos being grown by a fellow farmer here coming from Australia. Will have to find that thread to see what's he killing it with.

If in not mistaken the 2.0 versions are made with the haze and white widow XXL..Barney's has a nice selection also just not sure on the quantity and quality I'd get from there tho but ima give it a try..ya I'm loosing more And more outdoors to the weather theist few years so that's why I'm trying autos out..seems the way to go for me also

C+ 2.0 is C+xC+, haven't looked into others. Found that thread called Auto shoot out. There's some more info on XXLs and 2.0. Also Ned Kely posted a photo of a monster plant there but can't seem to find out what strain it was.

Btw if you're ordering Dinafems you can also order Barney's with them. They keep several other breeders in their stock too. Quiet the selection there to find. I'm always having troubles to decide what to buy and end up with shit loads of beans :D :D :D (not that I'm complaining ;) )
